Up Up and Abujawdeh

Jordan "Ims0Lucky" Morgan opened to 9,000 from the cutoff and Khalil Abujawdeh raised to 30,000 from the big blind. Morgan called.

The flop fell {5-Spades}{5-Hearts}{9-Hearts} and Abujawdeh shoved all in. Morgan called.

Showdown
Abujawdeh: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}
Morgan: {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

Morgan was in bad shape with a worse flush draw and a gut-shot straight draw and couldn't improve on the turn or the river. Abujawdeh doubled to 114,000 chips and Morgan is down to 99,000.

Binger Doubles Through

Nick Binger
Nick Binger

With a call before him, Jason Morgan raised it up to 12,000 from the button, only for Nick Binger to move all in for 24,400. The action folded round to Morgan who made the call.

"You got aces?" asked Binger. "Almost," came the reply.

Binger: {K-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}
Morgan: {J-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Spades}

Board: {2-Hearts}{4-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{6-Clubs}

Binger climbs to over the 50,000 mark, whilst Morgan absorbs a slight hit and drops to 163,000.

Abujawdeh Holds

Khalil Abujawdeh was all in against Nick Binger after a {10-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop. Abujawdeh held {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for a pair of nines and multiple straight draws and Binger opened {A-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a myriad of better straight draws and pair draws.

The turn and and river were big fat bricks for Binger; {4-Clubs}, {2-Hearts}.

Abujawdeh's nines miraculously held and he doubled through to 77,500 chips. Binger is left with 26,000.

Mixing It Up

A big pot had already accumulated in the middle, but when Michael Mixer slid his final 7,300 across the line on a {2-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{9-Spades} flop, he didn't expect to be ahead, his {A-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{J-Clubs} ahead, but looking to dodge more bullets than Phil Hellmuth at a firing range against the {5-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades} of Sergey Altbregin.

Although Mixer didn't quite swing those hips enough to dodge the {7-Spades} turn, he still had plenty of cards for the redraw, one of which arrived in the form of the {10-Spades} river. That last-ditch straight means Mixer is still alive and kicking, and now has around 45,000 in chips. Russian amateur Altbregin, meanwhile, has dropped to 125,000.
