At an adjacent table, Taurean Davis opened to 7,500 from under the gun and Jerry Yang called from the cutoff. Benjamin Maerefat three-bet to 23,000 from the big blind and then Davis four-bet to 57,500. Both Yang and Maerefat folded and Davis took down the pot chipping up to 235,000.

William Haydon led for 25,000 out of the big blind and his opponent James Vanneman called on the button.

Vanneman opened for just a wired pair of eights and Haydon mucked his hand. Vanneman chipped up to 300,000 chips and Haydon slipped to 230,000.
