Ricci Doesn't Fall for It

In a raised pot preflop, Justin "Boosted J" Smith and Patrick Ricci were heads up when the flop fell {q-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

Smith check-called 15,000 from Ricci and both players checked the {a-Diamonds} on the turn and the {8-Clubs} on the river.

Smith opened {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a flush and Ricci mucked his hand. Although Ricci didn't give him any more chips, the hand boosted Smith to 285,000 chips. Ricci slipped to 160,000.

Traniello Out

Harvey Mathews made it 14,000 to go from the cutoff and was called by Marco Traniello on the button and Andrey Danilyuk in the small blind.

Flop: {k-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}

It was checked to Traniello who made it 36,000. Danilyuk moved all in and Mathews got out of the way. Traniello called all in putting his tournament life on the line.

Traniello showed {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} for top pair top kicker, while Danilyuk showed {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for a flush draw.

Sure enough, Danilyuk's flush came through when the {4-Diamonds} fell on the turn. The river was the meaningless {2-Clubs} and Traniello made his exit.

Gone Fishin'

We reached Table 369 with the board reading {j-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} and about 40,000 in the middle.

Steve Cowley checked to Darryll "DFish" Fish who bet 16,500. Cowley raised to 50,000, Fish moved all in for 120,000 and Cowley quickly called.

Showdown
Cowley: {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}
Fish: {A-Spades}{A-Clubs}

Fish needed some help and the {A-Diamonds} on the turn was a good start. He needed the board to pair on the river but it did not when the {2-Hearts} fell.

Cowley is now one of our chip leaders with 665,000 chips and Fish has hit the rail.

Bartholdi Exits

This hand was recounted to us from a player at the table.

Jimmy Ostensson raised preflop from the button and Joe Bartholdi moved all in from the small blind. Ostensson made the call and the cards were on their backs.

Bartholdi's {a-Spades}{2-Spades} couldn't find any help on the king-high board and Ostensson's {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} was good for the knockout.

Wilsonnnnnnnnnnnnnn

Alexander Wilson has shoved over the top of Erik Cajelais twice in the past few minutes.

Both times Cajelais opened to 15,000 and Wilson moved all in. The past hand Cajelais flashed {3-Spades}{3-Diamonds} before folding.

"I don't want to race," he told Wilson.

Wilson's aggression has him at 142,000 chips and Cajelais is down to 160,000.

Baldwin Gets There on the River

Zachary Wolfe made it 16,500 to go from under the gun and Joe Baldwin made the call from the cutoff.

The flop came down {4-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{5-Spades}.

Wolfe bet 14,500 and Baldwin came along for the ride.

When the {7-Diamonds} hit the turn, Wolfe moved all in. Baldwin tank-called flipping over {6-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} for an up-and-down straight draw against Wolfe's {7-Clubs}{7-Spades} for a turned set.

Baldwin got there when the {8-Clubs} hit the river and Wolfe was sent to the payout desk to collect his winnings.
