Christopher McHugh and Peter Gelencser each put 18,000 chips into the pot before the draws, and they were heads up for this pot. Gelencser patted the whole way, and one bet was enough to put McHugh all in for 500 chips after drawing one card. He'd continue to draw one for the final two betting rounds, but things would not get better for him.
Gelencser tabled the hand to beat: . McHugh was drawing live with his (X), but another on the last draw was no help at all.

The clock has been paused briefly while Table 345 is broken. That must mean we've lost another player; details are forthcoming as the remaining 18 players reconvene around the final three tables.
Ted Forrest opened the pot with a cutoff raise, and both Farzad Bonyadi and Dan MacNamara called out of their respective small and big blinds. Three ways we go to the draws.
Each of the three players discarded two cards to start with, and the blinds check-called a follow-up bet from Forrest. On the second draw, Bonyadi and MacNamara took two cards apiece again, while Forrest drew just one and fired another bet. Bonyadi snuck in a check-raise this time, getting MacNamara out of the way. Forrest, however, quickly called.
The last draw saw Forrest pull one last card while Bonyadi stood pat and bet. Forrest called, and it was a good one; he tabled , and his opponent was unable to show up anything better.
Eli Elezra raised from the cutoff seat and then Greg Mueller called all in from the button. Shunjiro Uchida called from the big blind as well. On the first draw, Uchida drew one, Elezra drew three and Mueller drew two. Both the active players left checked.
On the second draw, Uchida drew one, Elezra three and Mueller two. Uchida and Elezra checked again. On the final draw, Uchida drew one, Elezra drew one and Mueller drew two.
Elezra's beat Mueller's while Uchida mucked to send Mueller to the rail in 20th place.
The action folded around to the blinds where Leonard Martin made the opening raise. Big blind Raphael Zimmerman put in the call, and off they go.
Zimmerman drew three-one-one, while Martin needed two-one-one on his drawing rounds. After the first discard, Martin bet and was quickly called. Both players checked the second round, and Martin check-called a Zimmerman bet after the final draw.
Zimmerman showed , taking down the pot to move up to 210,000. Martin mucked his hand to slip back under the century mark; he's got 91,000 by our count.
Well we finally found the time to tell you about Alicia Spencer, and it was just in time; she's just become the most recent victim of Day 2.
From the button, Raphael Zimmerman raised, and Spencer made the call from the big blind. She drew three cards and check-called after Zimmerman drew two and made the bet.
On the second round, Spencer pulled three cards again and checked, and Zimmerman patted and made another bet. Spencer raised all in, and her opponent quickly called to put her at risk of elimination. She drew two more cards on the final round.
Zimmerman tabled , and his ten perfect was good enough. Spencer paired up on the last draw, her marking the end of her day and the end of the females' run in this event.
It's now a man's world in Event #7, and Zimmerman is right near the top with 168,000.
Jesse Garfinkel raised from late position and was all in for 5,200. David Baker called in the big blind. Both player drew two on the first draw and then Baker drew one on the second draw and Garfinkel drew two. On the third draw, both players stood pat.
Baker's was good enough to beat the {9x] of Garfinkel and send him to the rail.
First in from the button, Christopher Fargis raised, and Hoyt Corkins three-bet his small blind. Fargis made the call, and it was off to the drawing rounds heads up.
We were distracted just long enough to see how many cards Corkins drew, but he fired out a bet after receiving his card(s). Fargis made the call after drawing two.
On the second draw, Corkins took one card and fired a bet. Fargis pulled two cards again and raised to put Corkins all in, and the Cowboy obliged by committing the rest of his 10,000-chip stack with one draw left. Fargis patted and Corkins sighed and said, "I still need one."
Fargis opened up , and Corkins showed his held cards: (X). He peeled the fifth card like a band-aid, shook his head, and said, "Pair of threes," flipping over a bad card.
"Okay, I'm done," Corkins said, gathering his coat and cigar and heading off to the rail after his 23rd-place elimination.
Alicia Spencer is the last woman standing in Event No. 7 here in the Amazon room. Spencer has a couple of final tables on her resume, but this will be her most-important cash to date. Spencer held the chip lead earlier in the day for a brief little bit and now has about 42,000 chips as we enter the next level of play.
Last year, Julie Schneider final tabled this very event and came in third so it's going to be interesting to see if Spencer can either match or top Schneider's run. Spencer is from Washington, DC and is the girlfriend of Mike "Crazy Mike" Thorpe. A well-known player in his own right, Thorpe is on the rail watch Spencer make her run, but he's been getting hounded by some of the other players in the tournament for being the guy who's railing his girlfriend as she already outlasted him in this event and goes deeper and deeper.
Ilya Bulychev was just knocked off in 24th place by Eli Elezra. Bulychev's remaining 4,500-chip stack went into the pot after the second draw, and he and Elezra both patted their final round. Elezra flung his eighty-seven high into the air and onto the felt, and his was too much for Bulychev to overcome. He's out.
