Progress For Pilgrim
Dwyte Pilgrim is a name that is well-known around the WSOP and WSOP Circuit. Pilgrim has a number of WSOPC cashes under his belt, and managed four cashes at the 2011 WSOP, including a 15th place finish in a $2,500 No Limit Hold'em event. Pilgrim is seeking another deep run this year, with his eyes on attaining his first gold WSOP bracelet.
We found Pilgrim staring down at a board of 
and a bet of 125 from his opponent. Pilgrim shuffled his chips before tossing out a raise to 425. The other two players in the hand folded and his opponent from the small blind made the call.
The river brought the 
and Pilgrim's opponent checked. Pilgrim tossed out a large bet of 1,575 and his opponent thought for over a minute before throwing out a call. Pilgrim quickly tabled 
and his opponent shot his hand toward the muck. With that win Pilgrim is now sitting at 6,900.

Frankenberger Crushing Early
While perusing the Brasilia room, we came across a massive stack sitting in front of Andy Frankenberger. Frankenberger is no stranger to success, however, as he has managed to rack up many notable poker honors over the past few years.
Last year, Frankenberger managed to best a field of 2,500 people in a $1,500 No Limit Hold'em event to take down his first WSOP gold bracelet and $599,153 in prize money. Prior to that, Frankenberger was named the 2010 World Poker Tour Player of the Year.
More recently, Frankenberger has found success early on at this year's WSOP. Frankenberger finished in an impressive 8th place in Event 3: $3,000 Heads-Up No-Limit Hold'em/Pot-Limit Omaha, losing heads up to the eventual champion, Leif Force.
With Frankenberger sitting on such a massive stack early on, it will be interesting to see how he pushes the action at his table. Frankenberger will most certainly be a force to be reckoned with during this tournament, and we will keep you updated on his quest to add a second gold bracelet to his collection.

Moorman Moving

Chris Moorman was one of the many players who has now fired two bullets in this event. He will obviously be looking to do far better today and if the early stages are anything to go by, he should do just fine.
We recently witnessed Moorman open it up to 125 from early position. The player directly to his left made the call, as did the player on the button. With the two blinds out of the way the dealer readied three cards to get spread along the felt.
Flop: 
On the flop Moorman flicked out a bet of 300. The player on his left then made the call, while the big blind got out of the way.
Turn: 
This time Moorman would bet 750. His opponent through and though before saying "I've got a pair." At this point he looked very keen to show his hand, toying with turning it over. He decided to not show though as Moorman raked in the pot.

Schleger Stuck a Few Thousand
When we arrived at PokerStars Team Online Pro Shane Schleger's table we noticed he was sitting behind a stack of around 1,400. It was on him to act preflop and he would open the pot to 125. A player a few seats to his left then three-bet to 275. Back on Schleger and he three-bet shoved for his small stack. This saw Schleger's opponent immediately muck his hand.
"What? I really didn't think you would fold!" quipped Schleger as he raked in a few chips. He is still sitting behind much less than he started the day with, but still has plenty of time left to build it up.

One Down Early
We just noticed that Eric Froehlich was packing his belongings and making his way out of the tournament area. Readers may remember that Froehlich posted a final table in the $5,000 No-Limit Holdem Triple Chance at last year's WSOP, while also finishing 4th in the $25,000 heads-up event. It will be on to the next event for Froehlich if he wants to see similar success this year.

Another One Sits Down
Yevgeniy Timoshenko is the latest player we have noticed in the field. Timoshenko has some great results at the WSOP including two final table finishes last year. He has over $4 million in tournament winnings to his name and is one to watch in any tournament and certainly in this tournament.

The tournament clock is currently telling us that the event has a total of 3,257 players. That means today's field now sits at 1,561 and is slowly climbing to reach yesterday's 1,696.
Cherish This
Cherish Andrews might not be well known to most, but for the past few years she has been a WSOP commodity. Finishing with four cashes in last year's World Series, Andrews continues to improve and looks to make a deep run here in 2012.
We recently caught up with her in the Pavilion Room check-raising from the big blind to 250 on a 
flop. Her opponent in early position completed and made the call. A 
was then released on the felt and Andrews forgo any ideas of playing soft and bet out 650. Again her opponent quickly made the call.
A 
river card brought with it a 1,100 bet from Andrews. Her opponent did not even hesitate and deposited a call into the pot. Andrews then flipped over 
which was seemingly good enough as her opponent mucked his hole cards. Andrews was awarded the pot, and now sits around 7,200 in chips.
