Former November Niner Eric Buchman brought it in with the , Tuan Vo completed and Sam Feinberg made it two bets. Both Buchman and Vo called, and then Feinberg bet on fourth. Buchman raised it, Vo folded and Feinberg called. Buchman then called a bet on fifth before checking sixth. Feinberg fired out a bet and Buchman tanked for a solid minute (which seems like an eternity in a limit game) before folding his hands.
Luis Santoni: / (FOLDED)
Vladimir Shchemelev: / /
Chris Reslock: / /
Shchemelev brought it in, Reslock raised, and both Santoni and Shchemelev called. Reslock and Santoni checked on fourth, Shchemelev bet, and both Reslock and Santoni called. Reslock paired on fifth, but still opted to check. Santoni checked as well, Shchemelev bet, and only Reslock called.
Reslock and Shchemelev checked on sixth and seventh, and Reslock opened up for trip tens and a "Ten-six low," as he put in. Shchemelev mucked.
Matt Lefkowitz: /
Naseem Salem: / /
Tony Cousineau: / /
After a player brought it in, Matt Lefkowitz limped and Naseem Salem completed. Tony Cousineau then made it two bets, Lefkowitz and Salem called and it was three-way action to fourth street. Cousineau was first to act with ace high and wasted little time in putting out a bet, which both his opponents called.
Cousineau fired again on fifth, Lefkowitz folded and Salem called. Salem then check-called a bet on sixth and did the same on seventh. Cousineau tabled and indicated that he caught the five on seventh to make two pair. Salem then flashed the for a smaller two pair before sending his cards to the muck.
Right after the hand, Max Pescatori and Lefkowitz informed us that we had just missed a big hand in which the former ran aces full into Lefkowitz's straight flush. Both players had made their hand on seventh.
Owais Ahmed: / /
Tom Schneider: / /
Eric Buchman: / /
We caught the action on fifth street, where Buchman bet out and Ahmed and Schneider both called. Ahmed made a pair of queens on sixth and checked. Schneider bet, and Buchman and Ahmed both called.
On seventh, the action checked to Buchman who bet. Ahmed tank-called, and Schneider called as well. Buchman opened up for aces and nines, Schneider showed for a low, and Ahmed mucked his hand.
Thanks to some broken tables and player relocation, we've been graced with some new table lineups. One is Table 426, which looks especially intimidating.
Rodawig is still in contention with a big stack, and so is defending champ Adam Friedman. There's still a lot of play to be had, but one can't help but wonder if a former champ will capture the prestigious title once again.
Here's a look at a recent hand involving Rodawig.
Brian Hastings: / /
Eric Rodawig: / /
Brian Hastings brought it in with the and then made it two bets after Rodawig completed. A call was made and then Rodawig check-called a bet on fourth before both players checked fifth. It was back to check-calling on sixth and seventh before the cards were table.
Hastings:
Rodawig:
Hastings had the low locked up, which meant Rodawig's pair of kings took the high. Chopped pots are no fun, but it gave us the perfect excuse to update you on their chip counts.
We caught up with the action on fifth street, where Tehan called a bet from Matusow. Matusow led out again on sixth and seventh, Tehan called both bets, and Matusow opened up for a flush. Tehan showed for a bricked flush, and we unfortunately missed his seventh card.
A few hands later, at the same table, Todd Ickow was eliminated with unknown action.
