Peters Ace Gets Him the Triple

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante
David Peters
David Peters

David Peters was all in against Alex Masek and also a third opponent. When they got all the money in the three flipped over their cards.

Peters: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Masek: {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}
Third Opponent: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}

The Tens were in the lead until... the flop of {6-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}. Peters took the lead. He only needed to avoid nines or tens. The turn came the {6-Diamonds} and the river the {2-Clubs}. Peters tripled up and eliminated Masek in the process. Peters is up to 56,100.

Cada Gaining Momentum

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

Could Joe Cada be on his way to another bracelet? We walked into the hand after all the action was completed, where Cada and his opponent were all-in.

Cada: {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Opponent: {k-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

Board: {6-Spades}{7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}

We didn't get the amount of the pot, but Cada's chip count is around 62,000, putting him towards the top of the leader board and in contention for another bracelet.

Selbst Gets Pushed On

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

While looking for some interesting hands we walked through Vanessa Selbst table and saw that she was facing a 8,100 chip bet into an already large pot. She called and they saw a turn.

The board now looked as the {9-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{k-Spades}. Selbst opponent immediately went all in. Selbst did not like this because she went into the tank. Not only did she go into the tank but she tanked for over 5 minutes. After talking it over she finally found it in herself to fold but did not like conceding a very large pot.

She was shaking her head and now falls down to 20,000 in chips.

Peters' Ace is Good

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante
David Peters
David Peters

We saw a pot with David Peters that was raised 15,000 preflop. The flop came {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}{j-Clubs}, and both Peters and his opponent checked.

The turn came {6-Hearts}, and the opponent bet 2,200. Peters made the call, peeling off the {7-Diamonds} river card. Both players checked, and Peters' {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} against his opponent's {k-Clubs}{q-Spades} was good to win the pot.
