Greenstein Out

Barry Greenstein
Barry Greenstein

After a {7-Spades}{6-Spades}{4-Spades} flop, Barry Greenstein was all in for 2,200 on the button against Pat Pezzin in the small blind and Eugene Katchalov in the big blind.

Katchalov called bets from Pezzin after the {K-Spades} turn and the river that we didn't quite catch, but Pezzin had nut nut with {A-Spades}{2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. Katchalov managed a quarter with {A-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{9-Hearts}, while Greenstein couldn't survive.

Duhamel Quarters Longfellow

Level 14

We picked up with the action on a board that read {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}. Karen Longfellow checked on over to Jonathan Duhamel who tossed out a bet. Longfellow called and the board finished off with the {6-Clubs}. Longfellow checked once more and Duhamell rapped the table back.

Longfellow showed {A-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for the nut low but was quartered when Duhamel showed the same low and a flush with {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{A-Spades}{2-}. Duhamel took down 3/4 of the pot and now has about 125,000 in chips while Longfellow sits on about 25,000.

Wattel Eliminated

Level 14

We arrived at the table to find Mike Wattel just about all in before the flop against Michael Moed. The dealer fanned the flop and Wattel dropped his final few hundred chips in the middle.

Wattel: {A-Spades}{K-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts}
Moed: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}

The board ran out {A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{7-Hearts} and Moed was able to score the knockout with the nut flush. Wattel made a quick exit from the tournament area while Moed stack his new chips and now sits around 122,000.

Wolansky Busts to Kostritsyn

Level 14

We found Steven Wolansky under the gun and all in for his last 1,800 before the flop. Going to the flop with him were Shawn Buchanan, Alexander Kostritsyn, and a third late-positioned player. The flop came {J-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Buchanan checked. Kostritsyn fired a bet and the third player folded. Buchanan called and the turn was the {6-Spades}. He checked once more but folded after a second bet from Kostritsyn. With that, Kostritsyn and Wolansky's hands were turned over.

Kostritsyn: {7-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}
Wolansky: {A-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}

The {K-Spades} rolled off on the river and Kostritsyn's hand remained the best with his straight. He was able to send Wolansky to the rail and now sits on about 120,000.

Moed Applying Pressure

Level 14

We picked up with the action to see Jennifer Harman and Michael Moed heads up on a {7-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{10-Hearts} flop. Harman checked and Moed fired a bet. Harman called and the dealer produced the {4-Diamonds} on the turn.

Harman checked a second time and Moed came out swinging again. Harman called once more and the {7-Diamonds} finished off the board. Harman checked and Moed cut out one more bet. Harman peeked at her cards once again before finally deciding to muck them. Moed took the pot and now has about 70,000 in chips.
