Robert Redman Eliminated in 16th Place ($19,444)

Level 22 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

From middle position Noah Sandler made it 32,000 to go. Behind him it was Robert Redman who shoved all in from the big blind with {A-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for about 72,000. Sandler made the call, showing {K-Clubs}{6-Clubs}. Unfortunately for Redman, the flop would come king high: {K-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{J-Hearts}. Redman still had a gutshot but his straight wouldn't materialize with the {9-Clubs} on the turn and {10-Diamonds} on the river. Noah Sandler now has a little shy of 900,000.

O'donoghue Eliminates Silva in 15th Place ($24,449)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

On a {K-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{8-Clubs} | {10-Hearts} board we saw Brian O'donoghue push all in from the small blind. He didn't need to put all of his chips in the middle since he had his opponent more than easily covered. Luis Silva was tanking from the cut off but eventually decided to call. He had {A-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for the over card, open ended and flush draw. He needed to improve though as O'donoghue showed {K-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. The {10-Spades} on the river didn't help Silva and he exited the tournament area.

Van Tran Doubles Through Noah Sandler

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Van Tran shoved all in from the hijack position for 103,000 and he was, after quite some tanking, looked up by Noah Sandler in the small blind. Michael Quick mucked his big blind and there was a show down with Van Tran at risk.

Van Tran had {Q-Clubs}{J-Clubs} and needed to improve against Noah Sandler's {A-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}. He flopped an open-ended with {3-Hearts}{10-Spades}{K-Spades} but wouldn't hit that. The {3-Spades} on the turn was a blank but the {J-Spades} on the river gave him the pair he needed.

Greg Oleson Eliminated in 14th Place ($24,449)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

From middle-position Michael Perrone shoved all in. Greg Oleson in the small blind called all in for 165,000 and the big blind folded. The situation for Perrone with his {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} couldn't get any better as Oleson showed {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts}. The board wouldn't change a thing and Oleson left the tournament in 14th place: {2-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} | {6-Hearts} | {3-Diamonds}.

Boatman Gets a Slap on the Wrist (from Himself)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Valentin Messina raised it up to 40,000 under-the-gun and with Michael Quick still missing (bathroom break), action was quickly folded to Barny Boatman on the button. He made it 100,000 to go and action was on Van Tran in the small blind. He announced all in for 255,000 rather fast and the big blind and Messina folded immediately. Boatman laughed, like he was caught with his hand in the cookie jar, but eventually made the call because of the good prize he was getting.

"You had to have a pair?" Boatman laughed as Tran showed {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}. Boatman himself would be fighting an uphill battle with the mere {6-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}. "What?" Van Tran screamed. Some players at the table saw a bad beat coming but Tran was saved from that trauma in the making: {7-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts} | {5-Hearts} | {K-Hearts}.

Boatman gave himself, literally, a slap on the wrist, and continued with about 600,000 in chips.

Boatman Doubles Through Messina

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

From middle position Valentin Messina raised it up to 40,000. Michael Quick made the call from the button and Barney Boatman joined the action from the small blind. The flop came {J-Hearts}{J-Clubs}{4-Spades} and Boatman checked to Messina who made a 55,000 continuation-bet. This got rid of Quick but Boatman would put up a fight. The Brit made it 110,000 to go and called as Messina shoved all in. Boatman showed {K-Clubs}{J-Spades} for flopped trips, while Messina had {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} for two pair.

The {7-Clubs} on the turn and {3-Clubs} on the river did nothing for the Frenchman and Boatman received a full double-up. Boatman now plays a little shy off 1.2 million, while Messina is short with just six big blinds.

Valentin Messina Eliminated in 13th Place ($24,449)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Valentin Messina
Valentin Messina

Right after the big hand he lost against Barny Boatman, Frenchman Valentin Messina is busted from the tournament. He shoved all in for 114,000 under-the-gun and was looked up by Michael "Mike" perrone in the big blind. Messina had the better hand with {A-Clubs}{6-Clubs} but Perrone's {Q-Spades}{10-Spades} would win the hand.

Till the river there was nothing going on but that last community card hit Perrone: {7-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{2-Hearts} | {8-Diamonds} | {Q-Hearts}. Messina takes home $24,449, all other players are guaranteed $31,153 at this point.

Mike Jukich Eliminated in 12th Place ($31,153)

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante
Mike Jukich
Mike Jukich

After Paul Dasilva limped under-the-gun for 20,000, Mike Jukich shoved all in for about 450,000 from the button. Robin Ylitalo, who started the day as chip leader but already lost a little bit, reshoved all in and Dasilva folded. Jukich tabled {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} and was in trouble against Ylitalo's {Q-Clubs}{Q-Spades}.

The board would make no impact on either player: {K-Spades}{7-Spades}{5-Clubs} | {4-Spades} | {J-Hearts} and Jukich left the tournament just a couple of seconds before the first break.
