Most players participating in this event are from the United States of America. With the Main Event looming more and more Europeans have made the trip across the pond though, and we have some chip counts from these guys for you:
On a flop we saw Jason Wheeler bet 425 after a check from the big blind. A player in late position made the call and the decision was back on the big blind. He thought about if for some time, meanwhile playing with his chips. For a moment it looked like he was about to call, but eventually he put all his chips together as one stack and moved them forward; 2,500 total all in. Wheeler immediately informed how much the smooth caller had, and eventually moved in as well. Wheeler knew he was in trouble after the caller insta-called as well:

Wheeler had a lot of catching up to do but would fail on that mission. The on the turn spelled doom for him and the on the river wasn't the one card in the deck he needed to scoop the side pot. Wheeler needed to pay another 2,975 for the side-pot, but still has about 9,000 left in his stack.
We came to Rupert Elder's table with the board laying out on the table and three players including Elder in the hand. The board read out and Elder had already checked. His first opponent bet out 1,100 and his second opponent folded. Elder who did not have to many chips decided to make the call.
Elder's opponent showed for the turned nuts. Elder shook his head in disappointment and had only a few chips to shuffle as he moved down to 2,200.
Dylan Hortin informed us he has been having a bad series. The last time we know of that he played he took second in a sit-n-go over in Pavillion a few days ago. Unfortunately that paid him nothing as his opponent took him down and won the one table tournament. Well lucky for Hortin he will get a chance for revenge against the player that took his chance away for some money just a few days ago. Hortin's opponent happened to be at the same table as Hortin today.
We caught up with a hand that had both players in action. Hortin made a called from the button after his Sit-N-Go opponent raised from middle position preflop with . The two saw a flop of . Hortin's opponent checked and hortin bet his over pair. The opponent called and they saw a turn of the . This time Hortin made a bet of 275 after his opponent checked.
Hortin's opponent wanted to beat Hortin again and called. The river was the . After a final check Hortin felt his pair was good and bet 700. His opponent called and Hortin showed his hand. The rival opponent mucked and Hortin was happy to take quite a few from the man who had his number just two days ago.
Just before the break we saw Faraz Jaka check-call a 150 bet from the big blind on . Jaka check-called a 325 bet from the button on the turn and the dealer put the on the table to complete the board. Jaka checked and thought for some time after his opponent had bet again. Jaka asked if he could pick one of his opponents cards if he would fold. The player on the button agreed and Jaka eventually folded. Jaka quickly grabbed the top card, revealing the . Did the button have another ace up there? A jack maybe? Or even a nine? We will probably never find out. What we do know is that Jaka has 3,800 left.
