Binger Can't Beat Top Pair

Level 1 : 25/25, 0 ante

On a {5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{K-Hearts} | {7-Diamonds} | {6-Spades} board we saw Nick Binger carefully check from the big blind. Binger acted out of the under-the-gun position and his opponent was sitting on the button. Binger saw that 800 was asked of him as his opponent had tossed in a 500 and three 100 chips. Binger quickly called but those chips he would not see back anytime soon. His opponent tabled {A-Spades}{K-Spades} for top pair and top kicker and Binger had to muck.

Levy Leaks Out a Few

Level 1 : 25/25, 0 ante

We watched Adam Levy as he was involved in a three way pot in the small blind. He saw a flop of {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}. Levy checked as did his first opponent. His second opponent in late position bet out for 150. Levy was the only caller. The turn came the {2-Clubs}. With this card Levy's opponent felt the need and bet 350. Levy undeterred by the bet called again.

On the river of the {j-Spades} Levy checked a third time. His opponent looked at all of Levy's remaining chips but tossed in 850. Levy thought for a moment but decided the price was too high and elected to fold. Levy had some work to do after the hand as he only had 2,450.

Level 1 : 25/25, 0 ante

The tournament director has just explained some basic rules, and then opened the tournament with the infamous 'shuffle up and deal'. Most players are ready, let's see who we can find.
