"A 100,000 pot over here," Allen Kessler informed us. Sure enough, we made our way over just in time to catch the action on seventh. It was at that point that Ofir Mor and Andrey Zaichenko both checked to Matthew Ashton, who bet. Mor made the call, Zaichenko folded and Ashton rolled over the 
for trip deuces.
Mor simply shook his head, gathered up his cards and then sent them to the muck.

No Third Poker Players' Championship This Year for Mizrachi

We just came on a big hand involving 2010 and 2012 $50K Poker Players' Champion Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi and Cole South.
Fifth street had been dealt, and with about 60,000 in the middle the board read 
. It appeared South had checked and Mizrachi had fired a bet, as the latter had 35,000 sitting out in front of him with only about 25,000 left behind.
South paused for several seconds, then announced he was all in, his stack well exceeding that of Mizrachi. The Grinder sat up and leaned forward, beginning a couple of minutes' worth of consideration of what to do next.
"I got a pretty big hand," he said at one point, with South offering no response. Finally Mizrachi called, asking "full house?" as he did.
South let his cards provide the response. He didn't have a full house, but his 
meant he'd made a club flush. Mizrachi slumped a little as he saw a hand that beat the one he was holding. He started to muck face down, then flipped his cards over and ahead where they landed in the middle of the table —

Mizrachi got up, wished everyone luck, and departed.

Kravchenko Puts Sexton Out of his Misery

We noticed Poker Hall of Famer Mike Sexton wasn't in his seat, and a quick check with Mike Leah confirmed he had busted. According to him, Sexton got his last 13,000 or so in the pot straight away holding 
and was up against Alex Kravchenko, who started with 
. Kravchenko ended up making jacks and deuces, which was enough to eliminate the unimproved Sexton.
Likewise, Argentina's Nacho Barbero has been sent to the rail.

Gipson Beats the Odds to Double Through Makarov

Alexey Makarov opened for 4,700 from middle position only to have Keith Gipson, who was seated to his direct left in the hijack, three-bet to 15,000. Action folded back around to Makarov and he opted to four-bet to 30,000. Gipson immediately moved all in for 97,500 and Makarov snap-called.

It was a bad spot for Gipson as he had run his big pair into an even bigger pair. According to the PokerNews Odds Calculator, Makarov was an 81.31% favorite to win the hand while Gipson had just an 18.25% chance of coming from behind. Wouldn't you know it, the 
flop gave Gipson a set and made him an 88.18% favorite.
Makarov, who saw his chances of winning drop to 11.82%, was clearly upset and stood from his seat. He then watched the turn drop his chances to 4.55% and the river flatline it to zero. With that, Gipson was pushed the nearly 200,000 pot.

Ly Dents Danzer's Stack

George Danzer raised from the hijack seat, Adam Friedman called from the small blind, and Minh Ly three-bet from the big blind. Danzer then made it four bets to go, and both Friedman and Ly called.
