Small Doubles Up To Stay In It

Level 9 : 300/600, 75 ante

We caught up again with Sean Small, who was down to 8275 chips and just doubled up to 16550.

Small picked up {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}, calling an all-in raise from late position. His opponent showed {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}, and the board ran out {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, allowing Small to scoop and stay alive. He is now close to the average stack of 17000.

Makowsky Calls All-In with 10-High

Level 8 : 200/400, 50 ante

We stumbled on a pot where a shortstack pushed 3500 from early position. The players folded around to Daniel Makowski, who announced, "I have 10-high," as he cut off a stack to call the all-in bet.

Makowsky fliped over {8-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and his opponent showed {A-Hearts}{7-Spades}

The flop came {8-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Spades}, and the table erupted in laughter as Makowski flopped a full house. The {9-Diamonds} and {7-Diamonds} completed the turn and river.

Makowsky professed, "Anyone else pushes, I'm not going, but I had the odds...let them know that I'll call you with 10-High," as he dragged the pot.

A middle position player raised to 800 with the player in the cutoff calling. Annette Obrestad reraised all in for 8,150 from the button with {4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. The original raiser folded while the cutoff called with {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}. Senti is Catching Cards

Level 8 : 200/400, 50 ante

Alfred Wang raised to 650 from middle position, the hijack reraised to 1,700 and after some thought Jason Senti announced all in for 10,400. Wang reluctantly folded and after some thought the hijack called for less with {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}. He seemed to like the fact that he was racing against Senti's {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}. The board fell {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Spades}{2-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Senti eliminated his opponent and added to his stack.
