Levy Doubles Up

Level 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

Action folded to Adam Levy where he raised to 600 from the cutoff and had one caller, the big blind.

The big blind checked the flop of {9-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{k-Clubs} and Levy continued for 1,150. The big blind moved all in and Levy called with less holding {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades} for top pair. He saw the bad news as his opponent turned over {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for two pair. The {q-Clubs} turn gave Levy a straight and his hand held through the {k-Hearts} river for the double up to an about average stack.

Small Makes a Great Read

Level 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

Right at the Level 6 dinner break, an hour long on-and-off duel was being resolved between Sean Small and Blake Cahil. The players had been going back and forth all level, and Small ended up making an unbelievable read to scoop a vital pot.

Small was in position, and called his opponents 650 min-raise. The flop came:

Flop: {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

Cahail min raised again, and small came over the top with a 950 and Cahail called.

The river came {8-Spades}, and Cahail checked. Small put in a bet of 1350 (just over 1/2 pot), and Cahail mucked into the Level 6 dinner break. Small calmly showed the {8-Clubs}{5-Spades} to pick up a 2800 pot .

Hoffman Likes His Aces

Level 7 : 150/300, 25 ante

Jed Hoffman raised from the under the gun +1 to 750 holding {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}. A middle position player moved all in for 5,500. Action folded to the cutoff who also went all in for his remaining 1,825. Hoffman snapped called showing his aces while the player in middle position held {7-Spades}{7-Hearts} and the cutoff turned over {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

The board ran out {5-Clubs}{2-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Hoffman's aces were good enough to rake the pot and eliminate one player. The middle position player had just 725 left and was eliminated two hands later.

"Mr_BigQueso" Thriving

Level 6 : 100/200, 25 ante

Jim Collopy just opened from mid-position and saw the hijack shove his stack. When the other players folded, Collopy immediately made the call. Collopy showed his {A-Hearts}{K-Diamonds} and the hijack showed {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}. The coinflip would fall on Collopy's side this time as an ace hit the flop: {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Clubs} | {8-Clubs} | {5-Hearts}. Collopy now plays around 11,000.
