Brad Owen Has a Chop Until the River

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 300 ante

Brad Owen opened to 4,000 from middle position with the player directly to his left being the only caller.

The pair of players saw a flop of {k-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}, Owen continued for 4,000 and his opponent then put in a raise to 11,500. Owen quickly made the call before both players checked the {4-Diamonds} on the turn.

A fourth diamond rolled off on the {5-Diamonds} river and Owen check-called a small bet of 5,000.

The player flipped over {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} for a rivered flush to Owen's now inferior pair of kings with {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}.

Raber Sends One Home

Level 10 : 800/1,600, 200 ante

Andre Akkari opened to 3,500 in the cutoff with the player on the button shoving all in for 14,000. Jonathan Raber shoved all in as well from the big blind for 31,200. Akkari debated for a few seconds before releasing his hand into the muck.

The player on the button showed {7-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and was behind Raber's {a-Spades}{10-Spades}.
