Kim Eliminated by Yoon

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

With about 45,000 in the pot on a board reading {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{7-Hearts}, Upeshka De Silva checked from the big blind. Jiyoung Kim was under the gun and bet 15,000. Brian Yoon called on the button, as did De Silva.

The dealer completed the board with the {3-Clubs} on the river and De Silva checked again. Kim counted down her stack and eventually moved all in for 63,500. Yoon paused for a moment and then called. De Silva folded.

Kim revealed {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for a set of tens but Yoon revealed {9-Clubs}{8-Clubs} for a straight to eliminate her.

"You're welcome for not three-betting," laughed Scott Seiver. "Yeah, thanks for that," smiled Yoon.

Wong Squeezes Aces

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

"You want the recap? Raise, raise, raise, raise, four consecutive people raised," Scott Bohlman said. The opener had already escaped by the time action was picked up. Michael Chow had three-bet to 16,500. Anatolii Zyrin had four-bet to 26,500 and Brandon Wong had cold five-bet shoved for 42,500. Chow reshoved for 99,500 and Zyrin tanked for a while before he folded.

"I got it," Chow said, but his {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts} trailed Wong's {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}.

The board ran out {4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{2-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Wong earned effectively a triple up.

Brenes is No Longer Swimming with the Sharks

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante
Humberto Brenes
Humberto Brenes

Scott Seiver opened to 6,500 from under the gun and Humberto Brenes three-bet to 20,000 from late position. Upeshka De Silva was in the small blind and four-bet shoved for 131,500. Seiver got out of the way and Brenes snapped De Silva off.

De Silva: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Brenes: {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}

Brenes saw he was in rough shape and said, "every time I raise you have something!"

The dealer put out a flop reading {6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades} and Brenes still needed to pair his ace or hit running cards to avoid elimination. The turn was the {4-Hearts} for some outs to chop, but the river was the {j-Hearts} and Brenes was eliminated.

'ElkY' Cracks Kings

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

The player under the gun raised to 11,000 and action folded to the player in the hijack who moved all in for 51,000. Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier was in the small blind and moved all in for 56,500. The original raiser folded and the cards were on their backs.

Grospellier: {j-Spades}{j-Hearts}
Opponent: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{10-Spades} and while the hijack flopped top set, Grospellier picked up a straight draw for outs to take it down.

The turn was the {4-Clubs} and the river completed the board with the {a-Diamonds} to give Grospellier a straight and send his opponent to the rail.

Cada Eliminated by Garcia

Level 12 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Joe Cada was in early position and shoved all in for 4,500. He was called by the player in the cutoff and doubled with pocket kings against queen-jack of diamonds.

In the very next hand, Cada moved all in from under the gun for 17,000. Action folded to Cord Garcia in the big blind and he decided to let Cada sweat his cards with him. He rolled over {8-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and laughed before announcing a call. Unfortunately for Cada he was completely dominated with {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}.

The dealer ran the board out {9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Cada was eliminated.
