Alejandro Torres

A-5 Triple Draw

"Alright, this is it," Alejandro Torres said as he raised. Dominick Sarle re-raised and Torres called, leaving himself 60,000 behind.

Both players drew two and got the last of Torres' chips in. Torres patted the last two draws and showed 7-5-4-2-A.

"Would be a sick way to go," tablemate Alex Epstein said as Sarle took one. He caught a 6-4-3-2-A as the entire table gasped at Torres' elimination.

The seven remaining players are now redrawing for seats at the final table.

2-7 Triple Draw

Andrew Brown was all in on the second draw up against Daniel Strelitz as they both drew one.

Strelitz showed first and turned over 7-6. "Did I get there," Brown said as he peeled his last card.

He didn't catch what he needed and the bracelet winner hit the rail in ninth place. "Day 3s have not been kind to me this year," he lamented as he made his exit.

2-7 Triple Draw

A preflop raising war resulted in Jerry Wong and Frank Kassela each committing 160,000. The former then drew one and the latter stood pat.

Wong check-called a bet and then drew one. Kassela stood pat once again.

Wong checked, Kassela bet 80,000, and Wong check-raised to 160,000. Kassela three-bet to 240,000 and called off his last 10,000 after Wong popped it back.

Both players stood pat and Kassela tabled {8-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{2-}. Unfortunately for the three-time bracelet winner it was no good as Wong drew to a winning {7-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-}.

Eisman Gives Most of It to Monnette, Gets Some Back From Kassela

Level 23 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Badugi

John Monnette bet after the first draw before Philip Eisman raised. Monnette called and took one, while Eisman stood pat.

Eisman bet again, but this time Monnette raised. Eisman called, then called again after the third draw.

Monnette showed him {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for a Badugi as Eisman was reduced to just 150,000.

A few hands later, Eisman would be all in against Frank Kassela after the second draw. Kassela stood pat, and Eisman got up off his seat while considering what to do.

"Flip a coin," tablemate Matthew Schreiber said.

He eventually discarded a 10 as Kassela showed a 9-7-6. Eisman caught a 7-5-4-3-2 to win the hand and double up.

"Good break," Kassela acknolwedged.

Level 22 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Andrew Brown limped in from the small blind and Dominick Sarle checked his option. Brown drew two, while Sarle took three and called a bet.

Brown bet again after taking one and Sarle stuck around to the third draw, when they both drew one. Brown put out another bet and Sarle raised.

Brown gave a grimace before making a reluctant call, showing a nine-low. Sarle, though, had him beat with 8-5-4 as players went off on break.

A Slightly Better Eight

Level 22 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Daniel Strelitz raised to 60,000 from the cutoff and Alejandro Torres called from the button. Andrew Brown then three-bet from the small blind before Stelitz four-bet it to 120,000. Torres got out of the way and Brown called.

Both players drew one, checked, and then took one again. This time Brown check-called a bet of 60,000 before leading out after the last draw in which he took one and Strelitz stood pat.

Strelitz called and Brown tabled {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-}, which was slightly pipped by the {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{3-} of Strelitz.
