Sabatini Again Takes from Berkey

Level 16 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Matt Berkey opened to 25,000 on the button and Cosimo Sabatini defended out of the big blind.

Sabatini checked on the flop of {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{9-Hearts} and Berkey checked back. Sabatini led out for 30,000 on the {9-Clubs} turn and Berkey called.

Sabatini checked on the {10-Diamonds} river and Berkey checked back. Sabatini tabled {k-Clubs}{6-Spades} for kings and nines and it was good enough to win the pot as Berkey mucked.

Stadele With Sailboats

Level 16 : 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante

Willy Stadele was facing an all-in from the big blind for 158,000, after he initially opened the pot under the gun.

Stadele counted his chips a few times, cutting out a call after a few moments, and he was flipping preflop. His opponent on the button was the player at risk.

Button: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Willy Stadele: {4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}

The flop was {9-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}, and the small pocket pair was still holding against the over cards.

Nearly everyone at the table audibly said, "Wow," when the {4-Spades} appeared on the turn, giving Stadele a full house that could not be bested.

The player on the button was already standing up, and left after the dealer quickly dealt the {j-Diamonds}.

While the cards were washed, Stadele stacked his new tower of chips, while players at the table were still discussing him spiking a sailboat.
