Stuewe Hits the River

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

In a three-way raised pot, the flop was {6-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and Ali Imsirovic checked. The second player involved bet 3,500 and Connor Stuewe made the call while Ismsirovic got out of the way.

The turn fell the {4-Spades} and Stuewe's opponent continued to bet for 10,000, which Stuewe quickly called.

The river showed a {j-Hearts} and Stuewe shoved for 82,000 after a third barrel from his opponent for 25,000. The latter quickly called with slightly more chip with {a-Spades}{9-Spades} for the nut flush, but only to see {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} in Stuewe's hand for a full house on the river.

D'Ambrosio Bluffs the Entire Way, Gets There in the End

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Jimmy D'Ambrosio was being pushed a massive pot on the river and relayed the details.

According to D'Ambrosio, he bet 8,000 on the {8-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{a-Hearts} flop and another 25,000 on the {7-Hearts} turn, with an opponent to his immediate right calling both bets.

The river came the {7-Clubs} and D'Ambrosio put out another 66,500, getting a call from his opponent. D'Ambrosio turned over {9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} for running trip sevens to take the pot.

"I was bluffing the whole way. That's the only way I'm winning," he said.

Martinelli Scores Knockout

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Jonathan Martinelli and James Tesoraro got it all in preflop with Tesoraro at risk,

James Tesoraro: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}
Jonathan Martinelli: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}

In what most would call a fair fight, the board rain out {6-Clubs}{7-Spades}{j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} which meant Martinelli's pocket tens held to win the pot and knock out Tesoraro,

Hawkins Says Costa is Lucky to Chop

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Maurice Hawkins
Maurice Hawkins

James Hughes raised to 4,500 in early position before Chris Costa three-bet to 22,000 on the button. Maurice Hawkins was in the small blind and paused to look around. After asking to see Hughes stack he opted to call and Hughes called as well.

The dealer spread a flop of {k-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and Hawkins led out for 26,000. Hughes snap-mucked and Costa moved in for a little over 100,000. Hawkins instantly called and both players showed their hands.

Chris Costa: {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Maurice Hawkins: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}

Both players flopped top pair top kicker and the board completed with the {6-Hearts} on the turn and the {9-Spades} on the river.

"You're lucky to chop," Chirped Hawkins, "that's the bottom of my range."

"You're both lucky," chimed in Hughes, suggesting he had the best hand before the flop.

Kniep Shoves and Shows

Andreas Kniep
Andreas Kniep

With roughly 90,000 in the pot on a {j-Spades}{9-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{7-Spades} completed board, Jonathan Dwek bet 35,000 in early position, and Andreas Kniep shoved all in for 86,000 in the hijack. Dwek asked for a count and thought for some time, but eventually laid down his hand.

"Sorry, man," Kniep said as he flipped over his {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds} onto the table.

"Oh my god," Dwek reacted.

"Had to do it. Just too good of a spot," Kniep justified while he took the pot and stayed alive for another possible run, as the German player continues his pursuit of besting his 2021 Main Event finish in 18th place for $305,000.

More Chips for Zarbo

Level 10 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

A player opened and Giuseppe Zarbo made the call in the big blind to see a flop {k-Clubs}{6-Spades}{a-Hearts}. Zarbo quickly check-calle his opponent's continuation bet for 2,000.

The turn brought the {2-Diamonds} and both checked. The {2-Spades} on the river paired the board and Zarbo bet for 6,000. His opponent didn't take long to fold.
