2024 WSOP How to Register

Key 2024 WSOP Dates and Schedule

The 2024 WSOP runs from Tuesday, May 28 through Wednesday, July 17 at the Horseshoe and Paris Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The WSOP Main Event runs from July 3-17.

Eligibility Criteria - Who can Play at the 2024 WSOP?

In order to play in any WSOP Event, players must be 21 years of age and older, with proof of age.

Most events only allow for a single entry per person, with exceptions for re-entry events and other WSOP Events with age or other requirements.

As per the official WSOP 2023 rules: "All participants must comply with all rules and regulations, including, but not limited to, all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations and CDC guidelines relating to COVID-19 in effect at the time of the tournament."

Players are advised to keep up to date with any rule changes prior to the 2024 WSOP.

2024 WSOP Registration Process

The registration process for the 2024 WSOP is simple and there are multiple ways that you can do it. The easiest way is to head to the WSOP registration area located within the casino.

Participants may only use the following methods of payment to pay the required buy-in for a WSOP Event:

  • Cash
  • Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express)
  • Wire Transfers
  • Cashier's checks drawn from accredited banks and made out to Participant or Paris Las Vegas Hotel and Casino
  • Host Properties gaming chips

Players may also purchase WSOP Tournament Credit using any of the above payment methods which can then be used to buy into any WSOP event (in-person or online). Any unused Tournament Credit will be refunded after the WSOP.

Required Documentation for the 2024 WSOP

Players must bring valid and unexpired photo identification as part of the registration process. This could be any of the following:

  • Passport
  • Driver's License
  • State Identification Card
  • Military Identification Card

For international players, and those who are not a US citizen, the following documents can also be used, providing that it is current, valid and unexpired:

  • Passport
  • Foreign Government Issued Driver's License
  • Consular ID or Matrícula Consular Card (Mexico only)
  • Alien Registration Card

Please note: If the form of identification does not include a physical address, a second form of ID that indicates a physical address will be required.

Additionally, any player opting to buy in via credit card must also bring a valid ID that matches the cardholder's name present on the credit card.

2024 WSOP Online Registration Tips

It can be straightforward to register for 2024 WSOP Events online through the Bravo Poker Live website.

In order to register, players must have both an active and valid Caesars Rewards account and a Bravo Poker Live account. Registration for both accounts is free.

Players can register online using the following methods:

  • Wire Transfer: Online registration must be completed 14 days prior to the WSOP Event date if the payment method is
    wire transfer.
  • Credit Card Authorization:

Please note, first-time credit card or ACH transaction registration requires an in-person verification process. After registering,
Participants must present the credit card used for registration payments, if applicable, along with a valid ID at the WSOP Verification area.

Online registrants must still finalize their registration on-site at the WSOP Verification area. Online-registered Participants must present current valid and unexpired photo identification (passport, driver’s license, state identification card, or military identification card) Players may then pick up their ticket from any WSOP verification area, or print from a WSOP kiosk.
