The PokerNews DeepStack Championship is a new, exciting event at this year's WSOP. It's a celebration of the long-running partnership between PokerNews and the WSOP and looks to 'Elevate player experiences and set new standards of excellence in the poker industry,' according to Shirley Ang, Global Live Events Manager.

It will have a deep-stack format and will be a Texas Hold'em tournament. Some of the finer details are still to be decided (we'll update this page as soon as more specifics are confirmed), but what we do know is that it's going to be an action-packed tournament that's not to be missed!

What is the Buyin for the PokerNews DeepStack Championship?

The buyin for the PokerNews DeepStack Championship event at the 2024 WSOP is $600 - among one of the lowest buyins in the Series. What are the PokerNews Daily DeepStack Poker Tournaments?

The PokerNews Daily DeepStack tournaments are side events that will run everyday from the start of the Series (May 28th) till June 24th. They will have a buying of either $200, $250 or $400 and each event you play in will award you a certain amount of points. The exact amount will be determined based on your finishing position in these tournaments. These run for the four weeks prior to the PokerNews DeepStack Championship, with 10 tickets being awarded each week.

So, if you finish the week in the top 10 spaces on the Daily DeepStack leaderboard, you will win complimentary entry to the PokerNews DeepStack Championship WSOP Event. Each week the leaderboard resets. You can see the week splits below.
