Stuart Rutter Gets Dealt a Smooth Ten and Doubles Through Chris Bjorin

Level 4 : 75/150, 25 ante

Stuart Rutter was already in the pot for 2,000 when Chris Bjorin went all in. Rutter had only 5,150 left and called.

Bjorin tossed a card into the muck and drew one. Rutter stood pat and fanned out his hand so Bjorin could see what he was up against.

Rutter held {10-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}. Bjorin fanned out {7-}{5-}{4-}{2-} and peeled his new card. It was a {10-}, and Rutter earned the double up.

Shortly after the hand, the players headed to their second break of the day.

Scott Seville Makes a Nine, Defending Champ Wins With a Queen

Level 4 : 75/150, 25 ante

Four players were in for 400 heading into the draw. The first three players drew one, including Scott Seville and Rep Porter. The final player drew two.

The action then checked to Porter and he bet 1,700. The player behind him folded, as did the small blind. Seville called with {9-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} and Porter showed a pair of eights.

At another table, the defending champion from this event, Ryan D'Angelo, called a William Foxen raise from the small blind. He then drew two as did Foxen. Both players checked and D'Angelo won with {q-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-}.

Max Kruse Gets it Right

Level 4 : 75/150, 25 ante

Max Kruse drew one, as did Michael Mizrachi, and the German checked to his opponent who bet 1,000.

"I got the card I need," said Kruse, "But I don't know if it's enough."

Eventually Kruse flicked in the call.

"Pair," announced Mizrachi, and Kruse took down the pot with a {10-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{2-}.

Jared Bleznick Feeling Confident

Level 4 : 75/150, 25 ante

"I guarantee that I'm going to make the final table," said Jared Bleznick, who is in a confident mood midway through the fourth level of the day in the 2-7 Draw No-Limit Lowball.

"I mean it! Write this down. Eric Wasserson gave me 5/1 that I make the final table."

Tablemate Huck Seed's ears pricked up at the sound of this.

"If you're that confident, we can have a large bet on this," he said, in between an assortment of remarks ranging from the cards to the air-conditioning to the quality of Bleznick's play.

It remains to be seen whether the two have some more action, and of course whether Bleznick makes a deep run.

Niall Farrell Makes the Hero Call

Level 4 : 75/150, 25 ante

"I'm never sure when to hero call in this game," said Niall Farrell, agonizing over his decision. "I wish I had any clue what to do!"

He had drawn one and his opponent had drawn two. His opponent had then moved all in for only a couple of thousand chips.

In the end, Farrell announced, "It's hero time!"

His opponent showed {9-}{8-}{5-}{4-}{2-}.

"It's not hero time!" said Farrell, as his queen-low went into the muck.
