Yaroshevskyy Wins a Multi-Way Pot

Level 6 : 300/600, 0 ante
Igor Yaroshevskyy
Igor Yaroshevskyy

James St Hilaire raised to 1,500 from the lojack and three players accepted his price: Rob Mizrachi flatted from the hijack, Mike Matusow from the cutoff, and Igor Yaroshevskyy joined from the small blind.

The flop {6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{9-Spades} was checked to Mizrachi who announced, "Four."

Matusow looked to be interested, but he eventually folded while Yaroshevskyy and St Hialire paid the 4,000. "They all are gonna call, Jesus," sighed Matusow.

Without him, the remaining players looked at the {Q-Spades} but neither of the three contenders bet.

The river was the {8-Diamonds} and action checked to Mizrachi who pulled out 7,500. Yaroshevskyy called and St Hilaire gave up.

Yaroshevskyy showed {10-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for a rivered straight, scooping another pot to boost his stack to roughly 120,000.

David Benyamine

David Benyamine was in the big blind and led out in the turn of a board reading {10-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{3-Spades} for 3,400.

The river card was the {10-Spades} and a check from Benyamine saw a check-behind from his opponent who showed {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{4-Hearts}.

Benyamine though took the pot with his {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Clubs} straight. The river card pairing the board killed some potential river action for the Frenchman.

Daniel Negreanu Doubles Up

Level 5 : 250/500, 0 ante
Daniel Negreanu (as seen in a previous event)
Daniel Negreanu (as seen in a previous event)

Jeff Madsen sat down to Daniel Negreanu's right, so we stuck around to see if anything would happen.

The gut feeling was right, although Madsen was only a spectator, sitting between the two main characters. A player in the lojack opened to 1,300 and Negreanu called, saying, "How much do you want?"

"Fours cards, anything can happen," Negreanu added.

The big blind joined the action and they went three ways to the {Q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{9-Hearts} flop. The original raiser asked what a pot is and bet out the max, making it 4,150. Negreanu had a strong response, "I raise pot," re-potting it to 16,600.

The big blind wasn't willing to let his hand go that fast, admitting, "I have a big hand."

Negreanu immediately replied with, "Shhh," indicating that a hand shouldn't be discussed in a multi-way pot.

The player in the big blind folded and the lojack asked Negreanu how much he had left behind. It was 20,700. In the meantime, the player in the big blind stood up, took his phone, and started shooting a video of Negreanu.

Negreanu liked that, posing like a Popeye the Sailor, showing his biceps.

The lojack called and, when the {K-Clubs} hit the turn, he moved all in to put Negreanu at risk. Negreanu called right away.

Lojack: {K-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{J-Spades}{6-Hearts}
Negreanu: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{2-Spades}

Negreanu was ahead and he managed to avoid a king on the blank river.

Shack-Harris Over Schemion

Level 5 : 250/500, 0 ante
Brandon Shack-Harris
Brandon Shack-Harris

We arrived just in time to see Brandon Shack-Harris bet 7,000 into the pot with {K-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts} on the felt.

Shack-Harris was in the hijack, facing Ole Schemion on the button. Schemion paid the price to see the last community card.

The {6-Clubs} landed on the river and Shack-Harris reached out to his stack again, firing another 19,500.

Schemion seemed to have an easy decision, mucking his cards within a few seconds.

Daniel Negreanu Sits, Wins Two

Level 5 : 250/500, 0 ante

“What up Weinman?” Daniel Negreanu asked his tablemate as they both bought in and sat down at the same table.

“I had a twenty-four hour nap. I’m feeling good,” Weinman replied.

Negreanu is looking fresh and ready to go too. He won one small pot and then from the big blind checked down another one only to declare to the player on the button, “Two pair,” which was good for another small pot.

“Two scared pair again,” Negreanu chuckled.

Jan-Peter Jachtmann Eliminated

Jan-Peter Jachtmann
Jan-Peter Jachtmann

Jan-Peter Jachtmann just couldn’t seem to catch a break today and he has just been eliminated

We arrived at the table as the dealer was sweeping up Jachtmann's losing {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} with his opponent's {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} in front of him.

The final board read {2-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, giving his opponent a flush and sending Jachtmann to the rail a little unhappy.
