During one of the final hands before the break Ilan Boujenah played a big pot against Daniel Negreanu. Boujenah raised to 400 pre flop and got two callers, among which Negreanu from the big blind.
The flop brought out and Boujenah bet 600 after which Negreanu check-raised to 1,800. Boujenah made it 4,000 and Negreanu called.
On the turn the hit and Negreanu followed through with a 5,600-chip bet. Boujenah called.
The river brought the and Negreanu did not slow down. He fired out 12,500, putting a lot of pressure on his opponent. Boujenah tanked for a long time, but eventually he folded face up. Negreanu mucked his cards and is off to a very good start here in Cannes.
