Paul Tedeschi raised to 7,500 from middle position, and Phill Hellmuth quickly three-bet him to 35,000 from the cutoff. The action was folded back around to Tedeschi who tanke for a bit.
"I'll take this one, you'll take the next one kid!" Hellmuth said. It didn't help as Tedeschi made the call.
The board ran out as both players checked the hand down.
"Jack," Tedeschi said before he turned over his . Hellmuth immediately stood up from his chair and snapped his cards back and forth.
"You put in 35,000 chips with jack high? You wanna play? I'll take'em!" Hellmuth said as he was visibly frustrated. "I had a straight flush draw. I was in front pre flop, in front on the flop and you were just a slight favorite on the turn" Hellmuth yelled as JC Alvarado, who had seen his cards, told Tedeschi that Hellmuth had offsuit. Hellmuth took a small hit, but is still one of the big stacks in the room.
We're not sure when the chips went in, but we can tell you that Ben Roberts just doubled through Salman Behbehani. Roberts held against the of Behbehani on a . Behbehani didn't look too happy with the brutal river beat.
Ben Roberts was one of the shortest stacks for quite some time, but this level has been very kind to him. We just saw him all in pre flop against Prosper Masquellier for 83,500.
Showdown:
Ben Roberts:
Prosper Masquellier:
The board ran out , and Roberts doubled up.
"I created a monster," Salman Behbehani said jokingly as he probably doubled up Roberts earlier on. Masquellier has nothing to worry about as he's still doing very well.
Christopher Brammer opened with a raise from the button and Daniel Negreanu three-bet from the big blind. Brammer moved out a four-bet and Negreanu called.
The flop was and both players checked to see the on fourth street. Negreanu check-called a 35,500 bet and the finished the board. Both players checked and Negreanu showed but was ultimately behind Brammer's .
This hit has moved Negreanu's stack down to only around 70,000.
Scott Seiver raised to 6,000 under the gun only to have Justin Bonomo three-bet all in for 59,500. [Removed:163] then moved all in over the top for 62,500, Seiver folded, and the cards were turned up.

Seiver reacted as if he had the best hand, and then let out a chuckle when the flop fell . According to him, he had held . Unfortunately for him, he didn't make the call and it would be Bonomo who would win the pot as the turn and river completed the board.
That left Sheikh with just 3,000 in chips, and two hands later the 2,000 he had left went in. Three other players created a side pot and then checked the flop. Seiver proceeded to bet 9,000 on the turn, both his opponents folded, and the cards were tabled:

The river was no help for Sheikh and he made a quick exit from the tournament floor.
