Moshe Check-Raises Huge

Level 3 : 150/300, 25 ante

Asi Moshe checked in middle position and then called 2,300 from the player on his left with a {5-Spades}{4-Clubs}{3-Clubs} flop on the felt. Bth checked the {j-Clubs} and a {10-Hearts} completed the board. Moshe checked and his opponent bet 4,575. Moshe came out with a huge raise to 24,500. His opponent thought about 30 seconds, pounded the felt with an open palm in recognition of Moshe's play, and then mucked.

Moorman Bluffs Off Before Break

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante
Chris Moorman
Chris Moorman

Chris Moorman was in the big blind and bet 9,000 into a pot of 12,000 on a board of {4-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}. His opponent in the cutoff thought briefly and then flicked in a call. Moorman showed {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for the nut blocker and ace-high, and he mucked it when the {k-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} was turned over.

Players are now on break.

888poker's Chris Moorman Enters

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

888poker Ambassador Chris Moorman has entered the field, taking a seat at a table near the end of the tournament area. Moorman is a true legend of tournament poker, having piled up about $20 million in cashes between his live and online careers. He won his first bracelet this summer, taking the $3,000 Six-Max for $498,682, and we'll see if he can add a second one in his native continent.

Duthie Has it This Time

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante

John Duthie's pattern of big bets continued as he fired in 10,200 on a board of {3-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} with about 13,000 in the middle. A big blind opponent tanked briefly and put in a call, but he couldn't beat Duthie's {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} for top set.

Big River Bet Takes it for Reichenstein

Level 2 : 150/300, 0 ante
Uri Reichenstein
Uri Reichenstein

Uri Reichenstein was in early position and put in about 5,000 preflop along with a player in the small blind, although we didn't see who the aggressor was. The small blind bet 3,700 on the {9-Clubs}{9-Spades}{6-Spades} flop and Reichenstein called. Both checked the {4-Hearts} to get to a {j-Spades} river. The small blind checked and Reichenstein overbet with 21,500. That induced a fold after about a minute of thought.
