Official Day 2 Closing Chip Counts Released

The chips have been officially tallied and bagged for the night and Scott Seiver expanded his already formidable lead slightly in the evening's last few hands. Here's the overnight totals for the nine final-table players:

Jorge Arias Eliminated

After just three hands at the final table of ten, Jorge Arias was eliminated when he ran pocket queens into David Seidman's A-K. Preflop Jorge raised to 50,000 and Seidman moved all in. Jorge insta-called and showed the pocket ladies, then each of the players stood as the race began.

The flop of looked promising for Jorge, but the on the river sealed his fate.

The players have redrawn for seats at a single table, and we'll play ten-handed until one more player is eliminated.

Scott Seiver Eliminates Michael Mizrachi

Two of the biggest stacks left tangled and when it was done Michael Mizrachi was out of the tournament.

Under the gun Mizrachi raised to 50,000 and Scott Seiver reraised to 125,000 from the small blind. Mizrachi called and they saw a flop. Seiver bet 175,000, Mizrachi moved all in and Seiver instantly called, turning over for the set that led Mizrachi's .

The board ran out and Mizrachi was eliminated in 11th place.

Seiver now has over 2.3 million.

Scott Freeman Eliminates Jon Van Fleet

Scott Freeman raised to 41,000 and Jon Van Fleet moved in for his last 166,000. Freeman called with to Van Fleet's .

The flop didn't seem to offer Freeman much help but when the paired the board it opened the possibility that Van Fleet's pocket pair could be counterfeited.

And that's just what happened, the hit on the river, meaning Freeman's ace played. And that meant Jon "apestyles" Van Fleet was out in 12th place.

Scott Seiver Eliminates Rayan Nathan in 13th Place

Scott Seiver raised under the gun to 36,000 and both Rayan Nathan and Jorge Arias called. The flop came , Arias checked from the small blind and Seiver bet 60,000. Nathan raised to 130,000, Arias folded, and Seiver made the call. The turn was the , Seiver checked, and when Nathan went all in for his last 219,000 Seiver called. Seiver turned over , but Nathan turned over for a set. But on the river Seiver caught the to make a straight and eliminate Nathan in 13th place.

Rajesh Vohra Bullies His Way to a Big Pot

Jacobo Fernandez raised to 35,000 and Anders Henriksson reraised to 90,000. Rajesh Vohra then popped it to 310,000, a big enough bet to make both Fernandez and Henriksson fold their tents. Henriksson saw his stack dwindle to 340,000 and Vohra is now up to 1.095 million.

Action Has Slowed

We're down to 13 players, the stacks are fairly deep, and the players seem to be treading carefully before getting too involved in a pot. There's been some trading of chips back and forth, but no decisive blows landed of late.
