Coming back from the break, Souny Frederic only had 2 antes left. He forfeited the first one, but was committed the next hand. He sat there as the table folded around to Monica Eastick in the small blind. She called, and Cole Swannack checked, to see the flop come . They checked all the way to the river, after the turn and river fell the and . Eastick tabled her , before Swannack showed for a pair. Frederic had a sickened look on his face, as he slowly rolled over for ace-high.
With that elimination, everyone is now guaranteed NZ$3,726 for their efforts.
Hand-for-hand began just a few moments ago and now the dinner bell has rang and the players have been sent on a 30-minute break. Of the 25 remaining players, it is unfortunately Suni Fredrick who is struggling the most, having a single 1,000 chip to his name!
Fredrick was in good spirits though, saying, "One chip and one chair!" as he made his way onto his break.

Paul Hockin has just been eliminated two spots off the money and hand-for-hand play has commenced. The next player eliminated will go home with no cash for his time and be deemed the official "bubble boy".
Jie Gao limped into the pot, before Slav Sheynin raised to 8,500. Andre Nunes-Carreira then re-raised from the button to 20,500 and was met a quick call from Gao. Sheynin would stop it there with an announcement of all in. His 420,000-chip stack scared of Nunes-Carreira, and slowed down Gao. He thought for a minute before finally mucking his face-up.
Action started with Monica Eastick limping into the pot. Angie Fitzgerald then raised it to 12,000 and was called by Leang Kang in the big blind. Eastick folded before the board came . Fitzgerald continued with a bet of 16,000. Kang sat there for a moment, deciding what to do, before just calling the bet. When the fell on the turn, Fitzgerald checked her option, and was immediately met with a bet of 22,000 from Kang. It threw her off, as she quickly mucked her cards.
With approximately 45,000 in the pot and the board showing , Michael Guzzardi bet out 13,500 in chips. Jamie Mulligan was the only other player in the hand, and he sat there for a minute, before eventually making the call. He waited as Guzzardi tabled his , and was relieved, showing his . After that scare-card on the river, Mulligan moves up to 200,000 as Guzzardi drops to 90,000.
Parvin Harji just keeps picking up small pots, adding to his already large stack. However, he did forfeit a few of those to a short-stack player moments ago. The action started with a bet of 6,000 and Harji defended his big blind. On a flop of , Harji checked. His opponent bet out 5,000, which was met with a raise to 15,000. Not hesitating, the short-stack player committed the last of his 67,000-chips into the middle. Harji ended up folding the hand, but still sits on 455,000 in chips.
