Fabian Spiedelmann and Sangeeth Mohan have been changing chips over at their table and it is Spiedelmann who is looking richer at the moment. We caught some action on a recent hand which gave Spiedelmann a few more chips.
The board was showing and Mohan had led out for 35,000 - seemingly a value bet into a large pot. Spiedelmann thought for some time before eventually making the call.
Mohan turned over for a whole lot of nothing, while Spiedelmann held , the pair of jacks enough to take down the pot.

PokerStars certainly knows how to throw a party. Check out the antics from a couple of nights ago as we celebrated PokerStars' 10th Anniversary and the kick off to the APPT Macau Main Event, held at D2 Nightclub:
With 71 players left in the field, hand-for-hand play has begun. The tournament staff also announced that a new rule is in place. When the first card is dealt at the table, any player not in their seat with have their hand mucked. This rule is famous on the EPT and has drawn some complaints from the players.
Cut to a couple of days ago and you wouldn't have thought we would be announcing Chieh Su Shih as the bubble player as he finished Day 1a as the chipleader. A couple of days is a long time in poker though and unfortunately its all over Su Shih.
Su Shih was all in holding and got the call from one opponent who held . When the board ran out , it was all but over on the flop for Su Shih as he would be sent home with nothing but a story about that time he got unlucky in Macau.

David Steicke is the first player in the field to hold a seven-figure stack and PokerNews was there to catch all the action.
One player opened from under the gun before Steicke made the call from the cutoff seat. The big blind player also made the call as the flop was dealt.
The big blind player checked, before the player directly to his left led for 32,000. This is when Steicke made a min-raise. The play was then back on the big blind player and he check-raised all in. The player who led got out of the way and Steicke started to think about his decision.
After a short while contemplating, Steicke made the call and turned over for a flopped set. His opponent held and would need a club to stay alive.
When the turn and river bricked out Steicke took down the massive pot and sits with a towering stack of chips.

Johnny Chan check-called a bet of 30,000 on the board against Shane Dye. The river was the and Chan opted to fire out this time. He bet 50,000. Dye took a few moments and then barreled all of his chips into the middle.
Chan had right around 165,000 behind and tanked. Eventually, he said, "You flop a set? I thought you flopped a set."
After another minute or two, Chan said, "If you have a set, you win," and pushed all of his chips into the middle. Dye tabled better than a set with the for the nut straight. Chan mucked and Dye won the pot to eliminate the 10-time World Series of Poker gold bracelet winner and two-time WSOP Main Event champion.
