One for You, One for Me

Level 1 : 200/400, 0 ante

From the cutoff, Patrik Antonius raised to 1,200. David Benyamine and James Bord both made the call. The flop came down {7-Hearts}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts}.

Antonius bet 3,200, Benyamine made the call, and Bord got out of the way.

The turn brought the {9-Diamonds} and both players checked. On the river {4-Hearts} river, both players checked again. Benyamine showed {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and it was good enough to take the pot.

A few hands later, Benyamine raised it up to 3,000 and Antonius was the only player to make the call. Both players checked the {10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{6-Diamonds} flop. On the {5-Spades} turn, Antonius tossed out a bet of 7,000. It didn't take Benyamine long to toss his cards in the muck.

Sharing is Caring

Level 1 : 200/400, 0 ante

Phil Ivey, who has been fairly active preflop, bumped it up to 1,000. Patrik Antonius and Andrew Feldman called and they all saw a {8-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{8-Clubs} flop. The boys checked it around to the {k-Diamonds} turn card, which got a check out of Feldman and Ivey, before Antonius decided to test the waters betting 1,400. Feldman folded, and Ivey made the call.

The river was the {2-Clubs}, and again Ivey checked to Antonius who this time bet out 5,000. Ivey didn't waste much time making the call, and both players flipped over the same hand. {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for Ivey, and {k-Clubs}{10-Hearts} for Antonius.

Moral of the Story: Play nice with your friends.

David Benyamine and Andrew Feldman saw a flop of {j-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. Both checked to the turn, which was the {7-Spades}. Again, they checked, and the {8-Clubs} hit the river.

Benyamine checked to Feldman who tossed in a bet of 2,300. Benyamine made the call, much to the dismay of Feldman. He was reluctant to turn over his cards, but finally did, showing {k-Spades}{q-Spades}. It was no good, as Benyamine showed {5-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a straight.

Bord Goes Bam!

Level 1 : 200/400, 0 ante

James Bord opened the action with a raise from the cut-off, only to find Phil Ivey three-bet to 3,500 from the big blind. Bord made the call, and the two saw a {9-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} flop.

Ivey led out for 4,500, and Bord then asked the dealer how many chips they started with. When he was told "25,000," he stated he was all in. Ivey gave him the stink eye, and then mucked his hand.

Almost There

So, we've been waiting for a while, some of the players were leisurely coming up to Studio 3, but we should be getting under way shortly.
