Day: 1a
Nor Way Would I Want to Be on This Table!!!
Andreas Hagen (left) and Johnny Lodden, both from Norway, have a lot of chips.
Chip Leaders
Andreas Hagen is in second position with 64K but has been moved to a seat between his Norwegian counterpart Johnny Lodden and Swede Mats Iremark, who both have stacks closing in on 30K now, so these chips could go absolutely anywhere.
Level: 8
Blinds: 300/600
Ante: 75
On Break
I will have some chip counts for you shortly.
Haugen Daas It (Again)
Hagen Daas It
Andreas Hagen has somehow tripled up and is the chip leader with 64k.
Matts Iremark has just won a big hand holding on a flop of
; he reraised all in and was called by , the turn and river brought , and he lives to fight another day.
ElkY Trebles Up
JP Kelly got his stack up to 18K, proving that the way to play quads is to keep betting!!
As usual, Badgirl's stack is yo-yoing all over the place. She just got a strange 80% increase in her stack when her Scandinavian opponent immediately folded on the turn when getting about 8:1. The best thing for me to do is just tell you she is somewhere between 12K and 20K as she seems to be playing every pot.
Tony Chessa in da' House
Praz Bansi Doubles Up
The guy opposite him turns over .
Praz Turns over .
The flop comes giving him plenty of outs and the on the turn gives him the flush, with a river missing the other guy's redraw.
There then followed quite a lengthy count of his winnings, as the dealer 'had a moment' and suddenly forgot how to count; the tournament director finally came to the rescue and Praz had more than doubled up to $14,000.
Elsewhere, Marcel Lüske has just won a special single-table tournament called The German Stars of Poker.
