Bubble Double For Oddsen

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Karle Andre Oddsen just moved all in from the cutoff for right around 30,000 chips and Andrew Pantling called from the small blind.

Pantling: {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}
Oddsen: {A-Clubs}{K-Spades}

The board ran out {A-Hearts}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Oddsen's odds at making the money improved significantly. We still need two more eliminations before everyone is guaranteed at least €16,000.

Paur Put to the Test

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

The action folded to Oleksii Kovalchuk, who raised to 10,000 out of the small blind. Taylor Paur three-bet to 24,500 out of the big blind, and Kovalchuk moved all in for effectively 150,000 or so.

Paul tanked for quite some time, then eventually tossed his cards into the muck.

Big Stacks Clash

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Faced with an open, Team PokerStars Pro Jake Cody three-bet to 18,500 on the button. Freddy Deeb, who finished 12th in the Season 6 EPT Deauville Main Event, cold four-bet to 68,500 from the big blind, and the action folded back to Cody.

The Brit went into the tank, then eventually moved all in.

"How much?" Deeb asked immediately.

The dealer counted down Cody's stack and told Deeb that it was 258,000 more.

"That big?" Deeb asked, referring to the contents of Cody's hand.

Cody remained silent.

Deeb hummed and hawed for for the better part of a minute, then folded {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} face up. Cody slid his hand into the muck without showing, and raked in the pot.

Diaz Done For

Level 16 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Just before the break, we arrived at a table where Adrian Mateos Diaz was standing, all in and at risk with {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}. Belarus' Vasili Firsau had him at risk with {4-Clubs}{4-Hearts}, and snatched the lead away from his Spanish opponent when the dealer fanned {4-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{9-Spades}.

Diaz threw his hands on his head in shock, and they remained there was the turn and river came {6-Hearts}, {3-Spades} respectively.

Firsau now sits with 185,000, while Diaz is eliminated.
