Day 1B of the Caribbean Poker Party $5,300 MILLIONS Main Event has concluded, with a grand total of 436 entrants taking part, 275 of whom made it through all eight 60-minute levels. Russia's Gleb Tremzin leads the way, bagging up a massive 7,353,000 to take through to Day 2, starting tomorrow at midday local time.

Brazil's Pedro Cavalieri finished in second place by a hair, taking through an equally impressive 7,125,000. Other players hot on their heels are Daniel Dvoress (4,889,000), Stephen Chidwick (4,824,000), partypoker sponsored pro Richard Dubini (4,660,000), and Omid Shahbazian (4,635,000).

Other big names advancing to Day 2 include EPT Main Event champion Tom Middleton (4,374,000), partypoker MILLION North America High Roller finalist Roberto Romanello (2,800,000), August DTD1000 winner Tim Chung (2,144,000) and partypoker Ambassador Joao Simao (2,040,000).

Not all of the fan favourites managed to survive the day, though, and partypoker sponsored pro Natalia Breviglieri is among those that fell agonisingly short. Fortunately for her, late registration and re-entry for this event is available until the end of level 12, four levels into Day 2, at 17:30 local time.

We'll be with you the whole way to bring you updates throughout.

End Of Day 1B

Level 8 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Hands have concluded on all tables and players are now counting and bagging up their chips.

We will have a recap and full chip counts for you later today

Last Six Hands

Level 8 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The clock has been paused and the number "6" has been drawn, which means all tables will play six more hands before bagging up for the day.

Barry Barrels It Off

Level 8 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Barry Hutter raised from middle position to 50,000, with Philippe Lefrancois making the call, and the two players went heads-up to a {k-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop. Hutter continued, putting in another 50,000, which Lefrancois called, before the dealer burned and turned the {a-Spades}.

Hutter didn't slow down, betting 130,000 on the turn, but Lefrancois wasn't deterred either, making the call. The {7-Diamonds} completed the board, and Hutter loaded the clip, firing out 340,000 on the river. Lefrancois quickly called and was shown {j-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for jack-high, while calmly revealing {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for top pair, pulling in the six-figure pot.

Players Tighten Up

Level 8 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

As we near the end of Day 1B, it's evident that the short stacks want to either double up or bust, so that they might enter the 1C flight at 8:00pm local time, or buy in directly tomorrow. With that said, the big stacks don't want to give anything away at this late stage, so play is locked in somewhat of a stalemate on a lot of tables.

Green Gets There

Level 7 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

After bubbling the MILLIONS Open final table and cashing out $10,000, Paul Michaelis entered the Main Event and drew the seat to Terry Green's immediate left.

Michaelis opened this one under the gun with a raise to 41,000. He picked up two callers from middle position, as well as Green in the big blind. They went four-way to a {4-Hearts}{3-Spades}{9-Diamonds} flop and Michaelis continued for 54,000. Green was the only caller and the two players took the {a-Diamonds} turn.

Green checked it over to Michaelis, who put out a bet of 128,000. Green once again slid in a call. On the {5-Diamonds} river, Green took over the action and led out with a bet of 350,000. Michaelis flirted with the idea of calling, but ultimately laid his hand down.

"Do you want me to show?" asked Green, politely. Before Michaelis could get a word in, Mitch Johnson replied with a resounding "yes!" Green rolled over {a-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for the wheel, and dragged in the pot.
