While Michael Falcon is still the chip leader the Dane has give some chips back to the rest of the field with both Chi Thinh Nguyen and Yo Seb Rhee winning hands against him.
However, the field is now short one Filipino with Segundo Barte busting at the hands of Germany’s Andre Peters. Despite doubling up through Michael Falcon shortly before the break Barte had been nursing a short stack for quite some time.
Action folded around to Barte on the button and he moved all-in for his last 104,000 and Peters made the call from the big blind.

Despite holding the best hand Barte was immediately out-flopped by Peters, who paired his jack when the flop came down . The turn was of no help and the river sealed Barte’s fate and he departed in 18th place making the equivalent of US$4,470 for his deep run while Peters stacked up to 1.65 million.
Mike Takayama's raise on the cutoff was met with the all in shove of Raphael Gall from the small blind for 454,000 and Takayama called to put yet another opponent at risk.

Jaehyun Lim raised to 60,000 and Yo Seb Rhee called from the button. Short Stack Freddy Wei moved all in from the small blind and Lim asked for a count. Wei was at risk for another 273,000 on top and Lim folded, while Rhee took some consideration before calling.

Vikram Palanisamy limped the small blind and Mike Takayama min-raised in the big blind which the Indian player called.
The flop saw Palanisamy check the action over to Takayama, who fired out a 41,000 bet, which kicked off a raising war between the two with Takayama the man to get in the final five-bet on the street with a total bet of 240,000, which Palanisamy called.
The turn saw Palanisamy pull the trigger and move all-in for the last of his chips (around 300,000) and Takayama called immediately.
