We caught the tail end of a big pot that played out between Chi Thinh Nguyen and Uday Bansal that saw the latter take a big bite out of Nguyen’s stack. With the board reading and over 300,000 in the pot already Bansal had fired for 250,000 on the river and Nguyen had made the call.

One of the first hands after the re-draw saw Michael Falcon open the action with a raise to 35,000 from under-the-gun and pick up a caller in Segundo Barte (UTG+1) before the action folded around to Junghwan Oh in the small blind who squeezed to 113,000.
Falcon thought it over and slid out the call and Barte bowed out to take the action heads-up to a flop of . Both players checked the flop, but this was just the calm before the storm as the moment the landed on the turn Oh snap shoved for over 300,000 and was beaten into the pot by Falcon.
Oh turned over and while he had flopped a gutshot straight draw the Korean had been outflopped by Falcon’s set of sixes. The river was of no help and Oh departed in 24th for PHP170,000 while Falcon stacked up to 2.8 million in chips to pull further into the lead.
