Bob Doren has hit just about every flop, turn and river today.
In fact, he's made a series of huge hands that have vaulted him up to chip boss position with a six-figure stack. This included making quad aces and having the good fortune of a player pushing all in against him.
Doren is actually the first player past the six-figure mark today and leads as the field settles in to the post registration and reentry period.
There was a raise to 2,700 that saw two callers before Jeff Roth made it 14,500. Two players folded before the third jammed 50,000-plus with jack-king off.
Roth called with two kings and held to put some space between him and the rest of the remaining field.
Just 19 players remain headed into the last break of the flight.
The schedule calls for three more half hour levels. However, there is a chance they reach 11 players remaining, approximately 12 percent of the 88 player field, before they play those levels, at which point play would halt.
It's a tight race for the flight lead at this point with both Jeffrey Roth and Bob Doren hovering around the 130,0000-chip mark. They're also seated side-by-side, which could make for an interesting confrontation of they decide to tangle before the flight is finished.
Alicia LaPorte Pachla limped in with the and called off 25,000 when one opponent shoved into her.
He had nines, and although Pachla flopped a jack and a flush draw, he turned a set to snatch back the lead. The river changed things again, bringing another club to complete Pachla's flush and with 18 left now, she's back in the thick of it.
Jason Sardo shoved the big blind for 25,000 after Mitchell Gasiorowski limped in from the small.
He took his time about it, but Gasiorowski called with the . Sardo had the dominating , but was far from a favorite to double when the flop gave Gasiorowski both a flush and open-ended straight draw.
The turn made the straight and although Sardo had chop outs, the river blanked sending him home a little early.
