Scott Zakheim is a 50-year-old attorney who resides in Davie, Florida. His information sheet is sparsely filled out, but we do know that he is married with two children.

Seat 8: Brent Roberts (1,011,000)

Brent "Astrolux85" Roberts is 23 years old and comes to us from Staten Island, New York. Roberts is a professional poker player who laughingly says he learned the game from Phil Hellmuth's Play Poker Like the Pros. Just four-and-a-half years into his poker career, Roberts is already making a name for himself. He final tabled an event at the WSOP (finishing 5th), won a FTOPS Pot-Limit Omaha 6-Handed event this year, and took down a $1,000 event in the Venetian Deep Stack Extravaganza for more than $111,000.

Roberts is looking for his biggest cash win here today, and he's in fine shape to do just that; he sits on top of the heap with a massive stack of 1,011,000.

Seat 7: Dwyte Pilgrim (265,000)

Dwyte Pilgrim is a 26-year-old native of Guyana who now resides in Brooklyn, New York. He is a loan officer who goes by the fitting nickname "The Shark Slayer". He says he learned poker "the hard way" some 13 years ago, and Pilgrim has several five-figure cashes during that time period.

The Shark Slayer will start the day in the middle of the field with 265,000 chips.

Seat 6: Kyle Bowker (375,000)

Kyle "kwob20" Bowker is a happily-married young man from Walton, New York. He is best known as an online star, but he is no slouch in the brick-and-mortar world either. In 2006, Bowker worked his way to a 37th place finish in the WSOP Main Event, pocketing a healthy $247,399 for that performance. Bowker bought in directly to this event, and he has already guaranteed himself a nice return on that investment.

Bowker begins play in the top half of the scoreboard, sitting on 375,000 chips.

Seat 5: Robert McLaughlin (123,000)

Robert "Jeremy" McLaughlin is 31 years old and is our second competitor who is with us from Washington D.C. He is a police-officer-turned-poker-player who has been playing professionally for about two years. He's making a splash already though, notching two six-figure cashes in deep stack events here in Atlantic City.

McLaughlin has some work to do today, coming in with 123,000 chips.

Seat 4: Phillip Reed (340,000)

Phillip Reed is a 23-year-old player from Washington D.C. His bio sheet is sparse on the information side, but we do know that he bought in directly to this event. His biggest poker score came in 2007 when he finished third in the World Poker Finals. He took home $152,480 in that performance, and he hopes to better that with a win today.

Reed starts play with 340,000 in chips.
