Brady Makin' Moves

Matt Brady opened from under the gun to 7,800. Eric Hershler reraised from mid-late position to 23,800. Brady made the call.

{7-Spades} {6-Hearts} {2-Spades} was the flop and Brady checked. Hershler fired 22,000. Brady announced that he was all in and Hershler almost immediately folded. Brady actually began moving his chips into the middle, unaware that Hershler had already folded his hand.

Check-Raise Works for Yates

Robert Cheung opened the action for 7,100 preflop and Eric Yates called from the big blind. The flop came down {K-Clubs} {8-Spades} {4-Clubs} and Yates checked. Cheung fired out 12,500 and this sent Yates into the tank. After a few minutes, he moved all in for what looked like to be about 50,000 more. Cheung folded.

Luong Gone

Nashaat Antonious raised to 7,500 from middle position and got two callers, including Gioi Luong from the small blind. On a flop of {5-Hearts} {5-Diamonds} {4-Hearts}, Antonious bet 20,000 and Luong shoved. Antonious called, turning up {A-Clubs} {A-Diamonds} versus Luong's {Q-Spades} {Q-Hearts}.

The {4-Spades} on the turn and {8-Hearts} on the river didn't help Luong's hand, and he left in 34th place.

Matt Graham
Matt Graham raised to 6,500 from the button and had Men "The Master" Nguyen shove all in from the big blind. Graham quickly called and tabled {A-Diamonds} {A-Hearts} while Nguyen showed {J-?} {J-?}.

The board ran out {7-Hearts} {10-Diamonds} {5-Clubs} {2-Hearts} {6-Diamonds}, and Graham scooped the pot and doubled his chip stack to 180,000.

Chip Leader Update

Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi is steamrolling the field and has amassed a chip stack of around 600,000 chips! His next closest competitor has under 250,000.

On a recent hand, The Grinder put in a nice reraise after a player opened and two others called. Everyone folded and Mizrachi showed pocket kings.

"It looked like such a squeeze play, what perfect timing," he said as he thought one of the players might shove on him.

Good Fold by Theo

Picking up the action on the turn, the pot sat at around 16,000 between Binh Nguyen and Theo Tran. The board was {A-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} {6-Clubs} {4-Hearts} and Nguyen checked over to Tran. Theo fired out 10,000, to which Binh check-raised to 30,000.

After a minute or two of time in the tank, Tran open-folded {A-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds}.

"Good laydown," said Nguyen as he showed the table pocket fours for a turned set.

David Daneshgar Knocks Out an Opponent

David Daneshgar called a preflop all-in bet from a short-stacked opponent and he was happy to see his pocket kings were way ahead of pocket sevens. A king on the flop helped seal the deal, but Daneshgar still had to sweat the river when a seven hit the turn.
