Few More Chips for Arnett

Level 7 : 200/400, 50 ante

Action folded to the player on the button and he limped in for 400. Kristy Arnett raised all in for about 7,500 and the big blind folded. The button also folded, flashing the {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, and Arnett added some more chips to her stack. She's not giving up just yet and fighting to get back to a more manageable stack.

Double-Double Gets Arnett Back in the Game

Level 7 : 200/400, 50 ante

When the table folded around to her small blind, Kristy Arnett moved her last 1,700 lonely chips into the pot. The only player left to act was the big blind Lisa Parsons, and she considered for a minute before making the call to put Arnett at risk.

Showdown
Arnett: {K-Diamonds} {2-Hearts}
Parsons: {10-Clubs} {7-Hearts}

The board ran down {J-Spades} {A-Hearts} {K-Hearts} {7-Clubs} {K-Clubs}, and Arnett doubled back to 3,850. Two hands later, Joshua Weiss opened to 1,000 from middle position, and Arnett three-bet all in for 3,750 from the cutoff seat. When it came back around to Weiss, he made the call, and Arnett was in a race for her tournament life.

Showdown
Weiss: {8-Diamonds} {8-Clubs}
Arnett: {A-Hearts} {J-Spades}

Once more, the dealer granted Arnett salvation as the board came {J-Clubs} {5-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} {2-Spades} {4-Spades}. That earns her another crucial double up, back to 8,550 now and still fighting the good fight.

Dwyte Pilgrim
Dwyte Pilgrim

Three players checked the flop of {A-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs} to Steve McQueen. He bet 900 and the first player who had checked, Dwyte Pilgrim, raised to 3,000. The next player folded and then Robert Zafiratos called before McQueen folded.

The turn brought the {9-Hearts} and Pilgrim pushed out 5,000. Zafiratos raised all in and Pilgrim called off his last 16,500 or so with the {5-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}. Zafiratos tabled the {4-Spades}{3-Spades}.

The river completed the board with the {4-Diamonds} and Zafiratos' straight was the winner and he won the pot, sending Pilgrim to the rail.

Griffin Out-Flops Opponent

Level 6 : 150/300, 25 ante

Gavin Griffin raised from the cutoff seat to 700. The big blind three-bet to 1,800 and Griffin four-bet to 4,900. After a while in the tank, the big blind made the call.

The flop was {J-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} and both players checked to see the {2-Spades} fall on the turn. They both checked again and the {6-Hearts} came out on the river. Both checked once more.

The big blind showed the {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}, but lost to Griffin's {A-Hearts}{10-Spades} as he flopped a pair of tens. Griffin won the pot and improved to 49,000 in chips.
