We're six levels deep into Day 1a, and the remaining players have been sent off for their final break of the flight.
We just watched Drew Caseri stand up, slip his white hoodie back on, and pace away into the distance. A quick check on his (former) table confirms the bad news that he's been eliminated.
Caseri finished in fifth place here last year, and he just narrowly missed a ring already this week, too. He finished second in the $345 re-entry event for nearly $20,000, and we'll likely see him again for the evening session.
We're not sure if he's nicknamed after the city or the city was named after his nickname, but Howard "Tahoe" Andrew is a legend around these parts. His table broke just a moment ago, and we went out in search of "Tahoe". Our walkaround turned up nothing, though, and it appears that Andrew has run out of chips in the Day 1a flight.
We'll no doubt see him again this evening.
Never one to shy away from pushing chips around, Andrew Barber has been eliminated fron Day 1a. He had about 12,000 chips left the last time we checked on him, but now he's got zero. And a few hours to relax before this evening's Day 1b flight.

We knew they were lurking around here somewhere, and they've finally taken their seats. Friends off the felt and on, Gary "Debo34" DeBernardi and Mark "P0ker H0" Kroon have just taken their seats at adjacent tables.
As Kroon sat down, he was eying up the other eight players. "This looks like an honest table," he said with a smirk. "That might be a bad read."
