Nam Le Eliminated in 13th Place ($13,355)

Nam Le-13th Place
Nam Le-13th Place

Action folded around to Nam Le in the small blind, and he limped in. Nathan Bjerno was in the big blind, and he moved all in, easily having Le covered. Le tanked for about 90 seconds or so before he made the call.

Bjerno: {j-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Le: {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

It was a great call by Le, but it was a terrible flop, coming down {j-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}. Le would need to pair up to survive the hand, but the turn brought the {5-Spades}, and the river came the {a-Spades}. Bjerno collected the bounty, and arguably the most accomplished player left in the field is now collecting his prize money.

Doug Lee Eliminated in 12th Place ($16,415)

Doug Lee-12th Place
Doug Lee-12th Place

"Today's just not my day," is a classic line from Doug Lee, and it fits for what just happened to him.

Under the gun, Lee made it 60,000. From the button, Baptiste Chavaillaz made a reraise to 130,000. Action folded back to Lee who called.

Flop: {A-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}.

Action went check, check.

Turn: {6-Spades}.

Lee decided to bet out 130,000 here. Then Chavaillaz took little time to move all in for more than 1,000,000, covering Lee's stack. Lee stood up from his chair, collected himself, then announced, "Alright, I call."

Lee: {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Chavaillaz: {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Lee was ahead and just needed to fade a ten on the river. He fist pumped, excited he was ahead.

River: {10-Clubs}

That wasn't the right river for Lee, and it sent him right to the payout desk.

"That's brutal," he said after the hand. "At least I made the right call."

Lee collected $16,415 for his efforts at the Bike. Chavaillaz is now close to the chip lead with 2,400,000 chips.

Greg Brask Eliminated in 11th Place ($16,415)

Greg Brask-11th Place
Greg Brask-11th Place

We were busy typing up other hands when we lost Greg Brask. We walked over to the table, and they told us that Brask was all in preflop holding {7-}{7-}. He was up against the {a-}{8-} of Eric Varela, and while the flop and turn were safe for Brask, he couldn't dodge an ace on the river.

Varela is up to 1.7 million, and after that elimination, we are at our final 10. Those players have redrawn to one table, and when we lose one more, we will have our official final table!

Joe Tehan Eliminated in 10th Place ($16,415)

Joe Tehan-10th Place
Joe Tehan-10th Place

Joe Tehan was complaining about being card dead last night and this morning, and that was clear, as his stack had dropped down all the way to 250,000. On his final hand, he moved all in after it was folded to him on the button, and while Zhong Chen folded, David Malka snap called from the big blind.

Tehan: {9-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Malka: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}

Tehan was drawing very live, but his hopes of doubling were all but dashed when the flop came {3-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}. Tehan would now need runner runner to chop or win the hand, but the {3-Hearts} on the turn sealed it. The meaningless river was the {q-Diamonds}, and that elimination gets us to our official final table.

Erik Roussakis Eliminated in 9th Place ($20,430)

Erik Roussakis-9th Place
Erik Roussakis-9th Place

Coming into the final table today, the biggest story was Erik Roussakis, who improbably had made back-to-back final Main Event Final Tables. Roussakis finished 5th at Rincon last month, and he was hoping to beat that today, but he will have to settle for 9th.

Action started with Baptiste Chavaillaz raising it up to 70,000. Eric Varela called in the small blind, and Roussakis came along in the big blind. Both blinds checked on a {j-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Spades} flop, and Chavaillaz c-bet to 130,000. Varela called, and when action got to Roussakis, he quickly moved all in. It took Chavaillaz about 1.2 seconds to shove his chip leader stack in, and Varela got out of the way.

Roussakis: {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}
Chavaillaz: {q-Spades}{10-Spades}

Chavaillaz had flopped the nuts, and Roussakis was in dire straits. He would need runner runner to win the pot, and the {5-Spades} helped him out. While it gave Chavaillaz the flush, it also gave Roussakis a higher flush draw. The river was a black card, but it was the {3-Clubs}, and Roussakis bowed out in 9th place.

Nathan Bjerno Eliminated in 8th place ($25,730)

Nathan Bjerno
Nathan Bjerno

Nathan Bjerno is leading the Bicycle Casino WSOPC points race now, but he has just been eliminated from the main event.

In the hand, Jared Ingles raised to 60,000 preflop. He was met by a raise to 175,000 from Jesus Gastelum. From the big blind Nathan Bjerno moved all in for just 10,000 more and both men called with heads-up action still on the side.

The flop fell {7-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Ingles kicked off the flop action by checking. Gastelum used that opportunity to bet 250,000, but this time he was met by a check raise from Ingles, who made it 500,000. After some time for thought, Gastelum made the call, only to see the {K-Diamonds} turn.

After quickly counting his chips, Ingles moved all in for 1,210,000. Jesus folded and Ingles and Bjerno both showed their cards.

Bjerno: {A-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}
Ingles: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}

Bjerno had turned top pair, but he was already drawing dead against Ingles' set. The river {A-Clubs} was just a needle for Bjerno who couldn't catch up, but he'll take the lead in the WSOPC Bike points race and he will also take home $25,730 for his deep run.

David Malka Eliminated in 7th Place ($32,800)

David Malka-7th Place
David Malka-7th Place

David Malka was having a great day leading up to the final table, but nothing went his way when we got under the big lights, and he has just been eliminated in 7th place.

Malka had just lost a big pot to Baptiste Chavaillaz when action folded around to him in the small blind. Malka raised it up to 90,000, and Jared Ingles was in the big blind. He thought for about 30 seconds before cutting out a raise to 275,000, and sticking it into the middle. As he has done several times, Malka spent a good while in the tank before announcing all in. Ingles instantly called.

Malka: {k-Hearts}{9-Clubs}
Ingles: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Malka was in bad shape and looking for a nine, but the board ran down {j-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}. That sent Malka to the payout desk, while upping Ingles to 4.5 million.

Huicun Qiao Eliminated in 5th Place ($55,340)

Huicun Qiao
Huicun Qiao

Huicun Qiao is gone in 5th place after being eliminated by Eric Varela.

Preflop, Varela limped under the gun for 40,000. Ingles called in the small blind, and Qiao checked his big blind.

Fireworks started flying on the {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Hearts} flop though. Qiao immediately moved all in for around his last 650,000. Varela didn't take long to make the call. Ingles quickly folded and it was off to showdown.

Varela: {10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}
Qiao: {10-Clubs}{7-Spades}

They had both flopped top pair, but Varela had flopped top two pair, while Qiao had outs to a gut-shot straight.

The turn was the {J-Diamonds} providing no extra outs and the river {5-Diamonds} was also no help for Qiao. "I thought my top pair was good," he said after the hand.

He left the tournament area, but not before collecting his $55,340 for 5th place.

Jared Ingles Eliminated in 4th Place ($73,270)

Jared Ingles
Jared Ingles

We have just lost Jared Ingles at the hands of Baptiste Chavaillaz.

Preflop action folded to Chavaillaz who raised to 170,000. Zhong Chen folded his small blind and action was on Ingles who made a reraise to 420,000. Chavaillaz made the call, and then it was off to the flop.

Flop: {K-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{6-Diamonds}.

Action started on Ingles who made a bet of 280,000. After processing this, Chavaillaz put in a reraise to 800,000. It didn't take too long for Ingles to make the decision to move all in, and this sent Chavaillaz into the tank.

"Do you really have aces or kings?" he muttered to himself.

After a few minutes of thinking, he found a call, and it was the right call.

Baptiste: {K-Spades}{J-Spades}
Ingles: {Q-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}

Chavaillaz picked off Ingles bluff with just top pair, and he couldn't have asked to see a better hand. Ingles was drawing dead to running outs.

The turn was the {J-Hearts} and that card put a lock on the hand for Chavaillaz. The {A-Spades} river was just formality as Ingles hit the rail in 4th place for $73,270.

With that hand, Chavaillaz now has an overwhelming chip lead with 8,375,000 chips.

Zhong Chen Eliminated in 2nd Place ($133,350)

Zhong Chen- Runner Up
Zhong Chen- Runner Up

Zhong Chen raised it up to 275,000, and Baptiste Chavaillaz announced "500". It was a raise to 500,000, and it only took Chen a few moments to move all in. Chavaillaz let out a sigh, and asked "more gifts?" Eventually, he said call.

Chavaillaz: {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}
Chen: {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

It was a coin flip to decide whether Chen would stay alive, and the flop wasnt' great for him, coming {2-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{k-Spades}. Chen was still looking for a queen or a jack, but the turn sealed it, coming the {5-Hearts}. Chavaillaz's rail erupted, and the meaningless river was the {4-Spades}.

Chen made a fantastic run, and for his efforts, he will take home $133,350.
