Doug Lee Eliminated in 12th Place ($16,415)

Doug Lee-12th Place
Doug Lee-12th Place

"Today's just not my day," is a classic line from Doug Lee, and it fits for what just happened to him.

Under the gun, Lee made it 60,000. From the button, Baptiste Chavaillaz made a reraise to 130,000. Action folded back to Lee who called.

Flop: {A-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}.

Action went check, check.

Turn: {6-Spades}.

Lee decided to bet out 130,000 here. Then Chavaillaz took little time to move all in for more than 1,000,000, covering Lee's stack. Lee stood up from his chair, collected himself, then announced, "Alright, I call."

Lee: {A-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Chavaillaz: {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Lee was ahead and just needed to fade a ten on the river. He fist pumped, excited he was ahead.

River: {10-Clubs}

That wasn't the right river for Lee, and it sent him right to the payout desk.

"That's brutal," he said after the hand. "At least I made the right call."

Lee collected $16,415 for his efforts at the Bike. Chavaillaz is now close to the chip lead with 2,400,000 chips.

Ingles Takes Million Chip Pot From Chen

We caught up with the action on the turn, with the board reading {j-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Jared Ingles checked to Zhong Chen, who fired out 125,000. Ingles thought for a few moments before putting in a check raise to 280,000. Chen made the call, and they were off to the river.

That card was the {5-Clubs}, and Ingles tanked for about 30 seconds before putting out a bet of 385,000. It was on Chen now, and after cutting the chips out of his stack and thinking for a minute or two, he made the call and showed {q-Spades}{j-Clubs}. It was no good though, as Ingles tabled {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for a full house.

Chen drops down to 1.45 million after that hand, while Ingles rockets up to 2.3 million.

Bjerno Drops Chips, Malka Picks Them Up

Bjerno started the day as the chip leader, but now he's back to the middle of the pack after doubling up David Malka.

Preflop, Malka raised to 55,000. Chen called in the cutoff, and Bjerno made it 155,000 from the button. Action folded back to Malka who attempted to put in a raise, but didn't put in enough chips. He made it 215,000, when the raise needed to be at least 255,000. Since it was more than half, it stood as a raise and he put in the extra 40,000. Bjerno then moved all in, and Malka snap called.

Bjerno: {A-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}
Malka: {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs}

The board ran out {8-Spades}{5-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and that was enough to give Malka the pot. Malka was all in for 796,000 more and doubled to just about 1,700,000 chips while Bjerno dropped under 1 million.

Greg Brask Eliminated in 11th Place ($16,415)

Greg Brask-11th Place
Greg Brask-11th Place

We were busy typing up other hands when we lost Greg Brask. We walked over to the table, and they told us that Brask was all in preflop holding {7-}{7-}. He was up against the {a-}{8-} of Eric Varela, and while the flop and turn were safe for Brask, he couldn't dodge an ace on the river.

Varela is up to 1.7 million, and after that elimination, we are at our final 10. Those players have redrawn to one table, and when we lose one more, we will have our official final table!

Malka Picking Up Steam

David Malka started the day in the middle of the pack, but he's slowly moving up to the top of the pack. He just picked up another large pot from Eric Varela.

Preflop, Malka made it 51,000, he was called by Jared Ingles and Eric Varela in the cutoff. The flop came {A-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{Q-Diamonds} and Malka made the same bet of 51,000. Ingles folded, but Varela made the call.

The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and Malka bet out 125,000. Valera quickly made the call.

On the {10-Hearts} river, Malka made a large bet of 230,000 and Varela wasted no time calling. Malka turned over {Q-Clubs}{10-Clubs} for a full house, while Varela showed {A-Diamonds}{7-Spades} for just top pair. That pot pushed Malka to around 2,250,000 in chips while Varela dropped to 1,600,000.

Chavaillaz Takes Big One From Roussakis

Erik Roussakis raised it up to 65,000 in early position, and Baptiste Chavaillaz made the call. Everyone else folded, and they went heads up to a {2-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} flop. Here's where the action kicked off. Roussakis fired out 110,000, and Chavaillaz only took a few moments before cutting out raising chips, and made it 260,000.

It was back to Roussakis, and he took about 20 seconds before assembling a four bet of 465,000, and slid it into the middle. It was back to Chavaillaz, and after 10 seconds of thought, he moved all in! The move was for all of Roussakis's chips, and after two minutes of thinking, he shook his head, and mucked his hand.

Roussakis drops to 760,000 after that hand, while Chavaillaz is back into the chip lead with 2.8 million.

Varela Gets a Little From Gastelum.

Erica Varela is slowly moving up the chip counts as he just took some chips off of Jesus Gastelum.

Preflop Gastelum raised 75,000 from middle position and Varela called from the hijack. The flop came {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}{6-Clubs}. Gastelum bet 75,000 again and Varela called again.

On the {6-Spades} turn, Gastelum continued with a 125,000 bet, and Varela quickly called again.

On the {2-Hearts} river Gastelum fired a third barrel for 200,000 and Varela snap called, showing {J-Diamonds}{6-Spades} for trips. Gastelum showed {A-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} for top two pair, but it wasn't enough.

After the hand Varela had about 1,900,000 while Gastelum dropped to 1,975,000.
