We have played two hours since dinner, and we are ready to take another 10 minute break.
Erik Roussakis is doing everything he can to get back to a WSOP-C final table. He was down to 290,000 early, but he just collected a bounty to get up to almost 600,000. The unfortunate victim was Sean Riley.
Action started with the player under the gun raising to 18,000. Erik Roussakis three bet it to 40,000, and Sean Riley was next to act. He four bet all in for 176,000. The under the gun player tanked for a couple of minutes before letting his hand go, and Roussakis snap called.
Roussakis:
Riley:
"Whew I folded queens," said the under the gun player. It was a great fold for him, and Roussakis only strengthened his advantage by flopping a set, . The on the turn sealed it, and just to show off, Roussakis hit quads on the river with the .
Roussakis is back up to 560,000 after that big hand.

On a board, David Randall had checked to Jared Ingles. Ingles bet 19,000 and Randall called.
The river came the and Randall checked again. This time, Ingles found 86,000 chips to bet and it gave Randall a tough decision. If he called and was wrong, he would've been nursing a short stack.
Eventually after a long period of though, Randall found a call.
Ingles showed for bottom pair, but Randall had him with for a missed flush draw, but bigger pair.
That pot pushed Randall up to 450,000, and took Ingles down to just about 660,000.

Wow. Just. Wow. The table in front of us has been action packed all day long, but Suzie Zhao and Nathan Bjerno just took that to a whole new level with a pot of over 1.2 million.
We caught the action on the flop, which read . Nam Le was also in the hand in the small blind, and he checked, as did Zhao. Bjerno made it 33,000 to go, and Le made the call. Zhao was next, and she raised it up to 119,000.
Bjerno tanked for about 90 seconds before he reraised to 210,000. Le quickly folded, and it was back to Zhao. She only took about 10 seconds to move all in for 600,000! Bjerno let out an audible "blah" before putting the chips in and asking "do you have nines?" She did not.
Zhao:
Bjerno:
Bjerno was out in front with his bottom set, but Zhao could catch a spade for the victory. The turn brought the , and the river came the . Bjerno yelled out "yes!" when the river was dealt, and after the chips were counted, it was determined that Zhao was eliminated in stunning fashion.
After that hand, Bjerno, who already won a ring here in LA, is our overwhelming chip leader with a ridiculous 1.3 million. With that elimination, we are also down to the final 36 players. Once we lose nine more players, we will have a complete redraw.

With the board reading an opponent moved all in for 88,000 against Nam Le. This sent Nam into the tank. With about 90,000 in the pot before the shove, and only about 120,000 in his stack, Nam had a decision that would decide his tournament.
He sat and calculated, and talked himself through the hand. It took him some time, but eventually he made the call.
Nam:
Opponent:
Nam picked off his opponents bluff with third pair on a scary board, but he was exactly right. His call boosted him over the 300,000 chip mark and put Nam back in contention.

Joe Tehan had a heater of epic proportions in the middle of the day, but nothing has seemed to go right for him since we returned from dinner. We just caught Tehan losing a massive pot to Shawn Daniels, leaving the established pro with just 210,000.
There was 90,000 in the middle on a completed board of . Daniels had a bet of 83,000 in front of him, and the clock had just been called on Tehan when we got to the table. About 30 seconds into the clock, Tehan made the call, and Daniels tabled for trip queens.
After that hand, Daniels is now among the big stacks with 490,000.
