Michael Assante Eliminated in 5th Place ($30,516)

Level 28 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

A few hands back from break, Michael Assante opened to 60,000 from the button and Mike Jukich called out of the small blind. Ken Silberstein three-bet to an unknown amount out of the big blind and Assante four-bet all in. Jukich folded and Silberstein called.

Silberstein: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Assante: {A-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

The dealer rapped the table and produced the flop: {9-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{10-Hearts}.

"Wow"'s and "Oooh"'s filled the area surrounding the final table area as Silberstein flopped top set. Before anyone could react the dealer made the {7-Hearts} appear on the turn and suddenly it was all over for Assante. The {2-Clubs} rivered and Assante was eliminated in 5th place.

Andrew Rudnik Eliminated in 4th Place ($40,509)

Level 28 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Ken Silberstein was first to act and opened with a preflop raise to what looked like 80,000. Rex Clinkscales folded his button and Andrew Rudnik announced that he was all in for 690,000 total. It folded back to Silberstein and he went into the tank.

A moment passed.

"I call," Silberstein quietly said.

Rudnik let out a sigh and flipped {10-Spades}{9-Spades} onto the felt. Silberstein showed {K-Spades}{j-Clubs} and was in a slight lead heading to the flop. The dealer spread out {4-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Silberstein's king high remained in the lead.

The {5-Clubs} came on fourth street and Rudnik needed to pair up in order to stay alive. Alas, the {7-Hearts} was the final card and Rudnik's tournament life came to an end. He pocketed $40,509 for his efforts.

Silberstein Picks Off Clinkscales' Bluff

Level 28 : 15,000/30,000, 5,000 ante

Rex Clinkscales popped it up with a raise from the button. Ken Silberstein flat called out of the big blind.

The flop was {3-Diamonds}{A-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and Silberstein check-called 90,000. The {6-Clubs} turned and both players checked to see the {Q-Diamonds} hit the river. Silberstein casually flung out 50,000 and Clinkscales decided to make it 230,000 to go.

"Call," announced Silberstein with little hesitation.

Clinkscales showed {10-Hearts}{7-Clubs} for merely ten-high. Silberstein rolled over {A-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} for a pair of aces and the best hand.
