On the three-way flop of , the player on the button bet 700 and was called by Georgios Zisimopoulos in the small blind. Timur Caglan, who won the 2016 PokerNews Cup in Rozvadov and finished second in the same tournament a few weeks ago here at the King's Casino, check-raised to 1,700 in the big blind and that picked up a call by Zisimopoulos only.
The turn saw a check-call by Zisimopoulos for 2,500 before the Greek checked again the river. Caglan made it 4,000 to go and avoided a showdown after the fold of his opponent. Zisimopoulos is already on his second bullet while €5,300 High Roller third-place finisher Robert Schulz was waiting to be dealt in at the end of the hand.
Viliyan Petleshkov also walked into the tournament area with a ticket in the hand.
Fabrice Halleux busted on his first bullet today and is back in for attempt number two, now facing High Roller champion Fahredin Mustafov who he still remembers from last night.

The turn brought the and Ramos checked again. Horni fired another 2,500 into the middle only to have Ramos check-raise to 7,000. Horni made the call and the landed on the river. Ramos bet 15,000 and Horni wasted little time before calling. Ramos tabled but Horni had him beat with . Ramos was left with just 1,600 and will have to spin it up if he wants to avoid re-entering.
On the three-way flop of , Mihael Jeraj bet 700 and the small blind called before Antoine Profit raised to 2,000 from the big blind. Only Jeraj called and the turn was checked through. After the river, Profit checked and eventually called a bet worth 1,500 by Jeraj, then mucked when he was shown .
Despite losing this small pot, Profit appears to be current chip leader with several others having already doubled their stacks.
Picking up the action on the flop, Gerhard Brimmers and Kenneth Thomsen invested 1,700 each before the turn was checked. Thomsen bet the river for 4,000 and Brimmers called. Thomsen showed and Brimmers had that beat with and tapped the table before raking in the pot.
The action folded to the cutoff who raised to 600 and Tudor Popa called from the big blind. The flop came and Popa checked to his opponent who continued for 1,200. Popa raised to 2,900 and his opponent moved all-in for around 11,000. Popa instantly called and showed his opponent the bad news.
Popa flopped a straight flush with and his opponent was drawing dead with . The and completed the board and Popa sent his opponent to the rail.
