Vladic Active Early on

Level 1 : 150/300, 0 ante

Franco Cantarella raised to 700 from the cutoff and Stipo Vladic three-bet to 2,000 from one seat over. Cantarella called and then check-folded the flop {5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} to a continuation bet worth 3,500. Vladic showed the {A-Clubs}.

One hand later, Renato Nowak called a raise by Vladic while sitting on the button and Elliot Smith came along in the big blind. On the flop {J-Spades}{7-Spades}{9-Diamonds}, Smith check-folded to a bet of 1,700 and so did Vladic to award the pot to Nowak.

May the Banter Begin

Level 1 : 150/300, 0 ante

Jan-Peter Jachtmann raised and Franco Cantarello three-bet to receive and receive a call from Stipo Vladic in the small blind. Jachtmann called and they checked down the flop {Q-Diamonds}{J-Spades}{2-Spades}. Vladic then fired the {J-Diamonds} turn for 5,000 and Jachtmann called, Cantarella folded. Vladic made it 16,500 to go on the {7-Spades} river and his opponent was sent into the think tank.

Jachtmann was suspecting a bluff as later mentioned in table chat but eventually folded. Both players then got into some banter and Vladic laughed back "of course it was a bluff."

"Yeah, I bluffed Stipo"

Level 1 : 150/300, 0 ante

Stipo Vladic min-raised to 600 from the cutoff and Jan-Peter Jachtmann as well as Elliot Smith called in the blinds. On the flop {5-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{A-Spades}, Jachtmann and Smith both checked and Vladic continued for 2,000 to pick up one call by Jachtmann. The {K-Diamonds} turn triggered no betting action before the {7-Hearts} fell on the river.

Jachtmann bet 5,000 and Vladic folded. The german threw over his cards to the other side of the table and the {8-Hearts} was shown. He told the dealer to also reveal his {6-Diamonds} as well and then triumphantly said "yeah, I bluffed Stipo, eight high," with a big grin on the face.
