Levi Doubles Through Napoleon Ta

Ta raised to 26,000 and Nicolas Levi made it 100,000 to go. Ta then three-bet to 226,000 and with much of his stack already committed Levi moved in for his last 231,000. Ta made the call and his {4-Spades} {4-Diamonds} was racing against Levi's {A-Clubs} {10-Spades}. The {A-Hearts} {Q-Spades} {Q-Hearts} put Levi in the lead and he stayed there as the board ran out {K-Spades} {10-Hearts}. He now has 475,000 while Ta's stack was reduced to 310,000

Pete de Best Eliminates Liz Lieu

Liz Lieu
Liz Lieu
Liz Lieu raised a sizeable chunk of her stack before the flop and Pete de Best called from the small blind. The flop came K-K-Q and when Lieu bet the rest of her stack de Best called with Q-J. That was better than Liz's pocket sevens, and when she didn't hit on the turn nor river she was eliminated.

Jason Sanders Eliminates Thong Tran

Thong Tran looked set to double up and win a massive pot when he got all the money in with {K-Hearts} {K-Spades} against Jason Sanders' {A-Spades} {K-Clubs}. The {2-Hearts} {5-Spades} {3-Clubs} flop gave Sanders a gutshot draw but the {J-Diamonds} on the turn kept Tran safe. But just for one card, as the {A-Diamonds} spiked on the river giving Sanders the hand. Tran punched the table and muttered, "My luck, every day!" before leaving the area, and Sanders now sits with 610,000.

Michael Snorden Eliminated

Michael Snorden was shortstacked after moving all in preflop with 10-8 and was called by Yury Shapiro. Shapiro showed pocket queens, flopped a set, and knocked Snorden down to just 50,000. On the next hand, Snorden moved all in with A-10 and was called by Jacques Zaicik who held A-Q. Jacques turned a pair of queens and Snorden was eliminated.

Adam Katz Takes a Big Pot from Jason Mercier

From middle position, Jason Mercier raised to 20,000 and Adam Katz called in the small blind. The flop came {K-Hearts} {10-Spades} {3-Spades}. Katz checked and Mercier followed suit, and when the {5-Diamonds} turned, Katz led out for 35,000 and Mercier called. Katz bet 50,000 when the {J-Diamonds} fell on the river and Mercier again called, mucking when Katz showed down the {3-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} for the set. Katz is now up to 465,000 while Mercier slipped to 155,000.
