"Hollywood" Dave Stann has been making a charge to the top in the early going. Though he's better known for his blackjack expertise, Stann has won three uncontested pots in the early going, and has nearly doubled up his overnight chip count, now standing tall at 32,000.

David Williams has announced to his table that he will not be playing with them for the first part of the day. Apparently content with the size of his chip stack, Williams has decided to keep his seat in the other tournament. He is playing the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Shootout that began at noon, and we expect him to join us if and when he is eliminated from that event.
