When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Arm-Wrestle!

The table of Vanessa Rousso, Mickey Appleman, Mel Judah and Marcel Luske just got even tougher as they were joined by Marco Traniello.

Upon joining the table Traniello was greeted by Luske who soon challenged him to an arm-wrestling competition. We're not exactly sure why the challenge was offered, but it looks like they've decided to stick to battling it out on the felt instead.

Shannon Elizabeth Busts Another

Omaha-8:

Shannon Elizabeth was check-raised on the turn and then check-called the river on a board of {J-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{Q-Spades}. She couldn't reveal her cards fast enough as she showed {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for a rivered set to take down the pot and eliminate her opponent.

Elizabeth now has a mountain of chips worth 27,000 in front of her.

Rousso: "That is So Sick!"

Hold'em:

The action folded around to Vanessa Rousso in the small blind who raised it up and Mickey Appleman made the call from the big blind.

The flop came {6-Clubs}{J-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and both players checked.

The turn brought the {K-Spades} and Rousso checked again, Appleman fired out a bet, before Rousso check-raised to 2,000. Appleman made the call.

The river was the {A-Diamonds} and Rousso bet out again and Appleman made the call.

Rousso shows {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} but Appleman had spiked a king with his {K-Clubs}{10-Clubs}. "That is so sick!" exclaimed Rousso as she slammed her chips on the table in disgust. Rousso is down to 13,000 which is same amount of chips as Appleman.

Scott Bohlman Eliminated

Stud-8:

Scott Bohlman found himself all in against three opponents including Greg Raymer and Nenad Medic. With action on all streets Raymer ended up collecting the low with a 7-6-5-4-3 while another opponent took the high with a queen-high flush.

Bohlman had outs to improve to beat both hands on the river but finished with an eight low and a ten-high flush to be eliminated in unfortunate circumstances.

Josh Arieh Fills in Time

Sometimes limit tournaments can lull at various stages, but Josh Arieh has found a way to pass the time during hands. He is currently engrossed in his game of Tetris on his portable game player!
