In preflop action, Asher Derei raised to 5,600 from the cutoff. The small blind called, as did Chad Burum in the big blind.

The flop came {A-Hearts} {J-Clubs} {9-Hearts}. The small blind checked, Burum bet the pot of 16,800, and Derei called. The small blind folded.

The turn was the {7-Hearts} and Burum moved all in. Derei made the call for his 11,000.

Derei: {J-Diamonds} {J-Hearts} {4-Spades} {3-Diamonds}

The river was the {8-Clubs} and Burum held the best low and also a flush to eliminate Derei and win the big pot to put him to 85,000.

Hachem Down but Not Out

Joe Hachem had Daniel Klein all-in and covered holding A-A-K-9 while Klein held A-9-7-2. The board ran two-pair for Klein which beat out Joe's pocket aces.

After the hand, Joe is down to 21,000.

Seidel Outflops Klaser

On a flop of {A-Hearts} {4-Diamonds} {5-Diamonds} Erik Seidel led out for 8,000 and Martin Klaser made it 22,000. Erik reraised to 64,000 and all in and Klaser folded the hand. Before tossing his cards into the muck, Klaser showed pocket aces for top set.

Poleshchuk Flops the Wheel

After Vladimir Poleshchuk called a pot-sized raise preflop from D'Jack Klingler, the players saw the flop come {5-Clubs} {4-Spades} {2-Diamonds}. Klingler only had a few hundred remaining after the flop and put the rest in then, with Poleshchuk making the call.

Poleshchuk turned over the wheel with {A-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {2-Hearts} and held the best hand against Klinger's {A-?} {Q-?} {Q-?} {4-?}. The turn came the {2-Clubs} and the river the {7-Hearts}.

Klinger was eliminated as Poleshchuk scooped the whole pot.

Bryan Eliminates O'Brien

George O'Brien and Jeff Bryan tangled with each other just recently. Preflop, Bryan made it 4,800 and O'Brien called.

The flop came {Q-Clubs} {10-Hearts} {3-Hearts} and Bryan checked to O'Brien. O'Brien bet the pot of 11,200 and Bryan called. The turn brought the {K-Clubs} and Bryan check-called O'Brien's bet for all of his chips.

Bryan showed {A-Spades} {A-Clubs} {Q-Diamonds} {2-Spades} and had O'Brien drawing dead. O'Brien mucked his hand as the dealer dealt the {10-Diamonds} on the river.

O'Brien has been eliminated and Bryan moved up to 51,000.

Big Three Way Action

The board read {10-Clubs} {7-Diamonds} {3-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} on the turn when Jim Geary, Vladimir Poleshchuk, and Doug Mandeville got all in.

McClure Crippled

Mikhail Ustinov raised the pot from under the gun. Raymond McClure reraised pot to about 13,000. Action folded back to Ustinov and he raised to put McClure all in, and McClure called.

McClure: {A-Diamonds} {J-Diamonds} {4-Clubs} {2-Spades}

The flop came {Q-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {2-Clubs} with a turn of the {6-Clubs} and a river the {8-Spades}. Ustinov scooped McClure with the nut low and two pair for the high.

McClure is down to 1,800 and Ustinov up to 39,000.
